Dropping a slot or two down the draft board may indeed save Tua’s professional life. Would love to see to him get the opportunity to sit for a year and completely heal up. Like rookie QBs did even 10 years ago.

I don't like Cowherd, or agree with him on much, but this doesn't sound too bad, at least on its face. It could give Tua time to learn, recover, get back to full speed while Rivers finishes out the last year or two of his career (if Rivers stays there after this year).
