Eh, this is probably the best we could do with a late flip at a position where we probably were not really heavily recruiting anyone for months because of the investment in our top back in the class.

I don't expect this to be a Josh Jacobs diamond in the rough. This is a guy that our staff probably does not expect to see the field much next season to be quite honest. Likely fewer snaps than even AK Dear got in the regular season (though Dear probably about to get 10 on Saturday).

I wonder if there is any interest on our end or his on coming to Tuscaloosa.

Suspended indefinitely at Auburn. Doubt he’s a fit.

Alabama seems to be taking the Pittsburg Steelers method of team building. They focus on bringing in the bulk of the team via recruiting (the draft) and rarely bring in starters via trades. I think there are very talented guys who are going to put themselves on the market every year. The question is how much production do they bring vs the money they want and is this person going to add to the "team" culture or disrupt it. Nobody can see clearly into the future but I believe many players are going to overestimate what they bring to the table. Is this method going to work? I don't know. Time will tell.

Team chemistry and more than one year of service is probably part of the thinking

Traeshawn Brown's personal trainer told BOL Brown is around 5'10" and weighs 195 pounds.

He's also been electronically timed at 4.35 and 4.39 in the 40-yard dash.

Brown kinda reminded me on film of Ahmad Hardy, being able to break tackles and keep balance the way he does.

Definitely looks smaller on his highlights, get him around 205-210...

Taking kids like Brown makes a lot of sense with 105 scholarships

Rivals beat writer thinks we are out on Samson Gash because Shepherd left.

Looks like he is deciding between Michigan State and West Virginia. Still not signing until February so we may ramp it back up.
