Under Armour All-America: Day 1 Eye-Catchers

quote:

DL Jordan Renaud, Alabama

Along with Adepoju Adebawore, Jordan Renaud and Georgia signee Samuel M’Pemba were the Team Speed defensive linemen who stood out from a physical perspective. Both Renaud and M’Pemba are very physically developed with filled out, muscular builds. Renaud continued to impress in individual drills showing quickness, bend and strong hands. The Tyler (Texas) Legacy product also showed well in the skills competition with a notable burst.

Renaud ranks as the No. 74 overall prospect in the On300.

quote:

+ We were able to get a more extensive look at the Team Phantom defensive backs. Alabama signee Desmond Ricks may be the tallest corner on hand, looking to be around 6-foot-2. While things were not full speed, Ricks looked comfortable on Friday night. Georgia safety signee Joenel Aguero also caught our eye with his twitchy movements on the back end.

Not sure whether this was already posted: from On3 about what Richard Young said regarding Cormani McClain's recruitment.

Jordan Renaud has had back to back great practices, he's gonna be in line for a big bump at this rate.

A great get by Bama.

No surprise. Props to the staff for seeing his talent before the other programs in the 10th grade or so and getting in on him early.

Saw some more updates on BOL. Said Renaud possibly the best defensive player there. Tony Mitchell looks like a linebacker. Said he looks like he weighs close to 210.

per BOL

"Talking to Team Speed head coach Chad Johnson before practice, called Young the best player on his team and one of the best backs he’s ever been around"

On3 had him as day 2 MVP. He's probably going to end up a borderline 5*.

He really is big. He probably going to have to shed some pounds.

Need to get Richard Sherman and Brandon Browning out to work with him. Teach him how to mug those outside receivers .

They would be perfect. We basically run the same system.

Per Tim Watts of BOL,

"Two day reports on Cormani weren’t good. I tend to not overreact on the negative for these games. Have not heard any update on his status."

"Was told Harbor hasn’t looked natural catching the ball but he a good looking athlete. I’ve never heard Bama mentioned with him"

Had Harbor wrong, thought he wanted DE instead of TE. Interesting to see where he ends up.

Wonder what issues McClain is having.
