With the landscape of CFB now who cares about class rankings in recruiting.

The current situation is a player's market. They have the flexibility to move between teams. Before all the recent changes players were willing to go in, sit on the bench, and gain experience. But now they need to play to get paid. So they are looking at depth charts and not risking their presumed value. The days of signing 3 RBs or multiples recruits in a limited position for playing time are long gone.

The flip side to this though coaches that know how to navigate the free agency of the transfer portal can benefit by bringing in players with that experience and ready to contribute.

I hold my breath everytime there is a new post on this thread, haha. If we hang on to what we currently have I will be happy. I know it sucks to see so many de-commits especially after seeing us start to improve a little bit but I have faith in this staff to go out and get some good ones in the portal.

If Carroll sticks, this o-line class might be the best ever at Bama. On3 has Carroll at 9, Haywood at 12 and Lloyd at 20. That's overall, not just as o-lineman recruits.

Bama could likely be in the SECCG...again. Not sure why anyone would decommit at this point...outside of the obvious $. Teams like auburn and lsu are the ones you'd think they'd be abandoning like sinking ships. No idea why any player with options would want to play for Freeze or Kelly.

What kind of wr wouldn't want to be receiving passes from Russell? Kids are dumb as hell but even a hs recruit has got to understand they are not going to have milroe passing to them, he's gone.

Rumors about a potential flip to Colorado, but difficult to say if those rumors are legit.

I think people are concerned because Colorado offered him on 11/13 and he immediately went to Boulder on 11/15 for an official. Also some concern that JuJu is recruiting him hard.

Yeah I don't get it either. How can these recruits look at the products on the field and still have confidence in either coach/system? Yet we are the ones having de-commits. It's not making sense

Most likely they see immediate playing time.

These kids first concern is how much will they make. Everyone questioned Travis Hunter and it has not hurt him at all. These kids say go somewhere where I have a chance to see the field early and make money or go somewhere else and sit the bench and generate no NIL value.

Only online is Milroe seen as trash and specifically on Alabama forums.

If you ask any kid I'm sure they would want to play with him. It's only on here where we make the backup heroes that they're even known

For what is worth Michael’s Dad said he wasn’t flipping from Bama. He said he was just going on the recruiting trip with some of his teammates from IMG.
