Do I have the breakdown the number of 5 stars commit to those 3 schools compared to everyone else? Please don’t make me, I don’t like using excel on Fridays but I will unless you’re trolling then I will ignore you.

You said Clemson has been churning out defensive prospects. I took that as if they are getting them drafted and they are producing. Simply asked you to name them. Because they dont have more than Bama does.

I did not say that. I said defensive lineman and they have been producing at the same or higher clip than we have. That’s why I said that made sense.

Alabama has three of the top ten DL in the NFL. I’m not sure Clemson has one.

Clemson got Woods because of the same reasons they usually get any Alabama kid. Dabo has ties to the kids family in the Birmingham area. Or played with a family member at Alabama.

He also collects Alabama legacies as a hobby ot something.

Clemson had a DL drafted in the first round this year

They’ve had 7 drafted in the first round under Dabo. But that’s not what I was arguing. Alabama has three former DL among the best in the NFL. Period.

Alabama has had 4 but also plays a different style. I’m not sure if some of Clemson’s DE drafted first round are really just edge players. Alabama’s numbers go up depending on how you qualify that.

Not positive, but I think that Clemson has 3 too. Lawrence, Wilkins, and Reader. MSU had 3 as well I think with Simmons, Cox, and Sweat.

I hate that he flipped and I tried to warn everybody yesterday but nobody wanted to hear it. Honestly we don’t need anyone at Bama that really doesn’t want to be there.Hopefully he gets used to to losing to Bama his whole career. Downvote that!

I’m not liking the way the wind is blowing right now. I would like to think it is a visit high and decision based on emotion from Perry, but he has made several trips to AU in the last 2 months. These kids are being sold on a message, that of come have fun in playing college football and create your own legacy.

I’m not going to overreact, but I will say I don’t like these recent developments. Freeze was doing NIL years before NIL was legal, and he has polished his trade since then. He fits what Auburn wants; a quick program fixer, and a snake oil salesman that preaches family and religion. However, I do fully realize that NIL and the transfer portal are the real threats, not a coach.

A lot of players are going to be doing this until NIL rules become more defined if they ever do. They're going to take a big bag from whatever school offers it, spend a couple of years getting paid there, and then hit the portal to get one more bag from a school that'll actually get them drafted.
