Losing Finch stinks. However, Franklin is the guy that Kenny King kept begging Roach to take months ago. Roach was only "so-so" on him then. He's had a big senior year (still raw as a cob and just scratching the surface of his potential). Someone I trust mentioned that Todd Bates (OU DL coach) is very high on him as well.
Speaking of Bates, I wish we would bring him home at some point.

Are we in the running for any big DT-types this go around? Looks like all DL commits so far are 260 lb or under.

IDK maybe i just like bigger d lineman but I think its over for us with those type of players because we run a lot of stunts and drop d lineman in coverage and things like that now.

Damn, I wish I coulda gotten that 6-foot-nothing to 6'6'' growth spurt my senior year of high school. I'd be retired from the NFL living next to Saban in Jupiter, FL right now.
