Alfano going to wreck shite at bama. I love the new jersey pipeline we seem to have. Wonder why nj has such good talent but ny never seems to despite having all that population. I'm guessing NYC high schools don't have football teams due to space constraints, and basketball is the big sport?

Derrell Hart, one of the Ole Miss mods, went on a CB spree this morning. Here are the ones he made that are relevant to us:

Marcus Banks - Texas A&M
Ty Robinson - USCw
Noa Pola-Gates - Alabama
Siaki Ika - Alabama

Keon Zipperer - Florida
Evan Neal - Alabama
Darnell Wright - Tennessee
Trey Sanders - Alabama
Kayvon Thibodeaux - Oregon

Daniel Heimuli had to cancel this weekend's OV to Bama. His HS game got moved to Saturday due to poor air quality from the wildfires.

ETA: Heimuli picked up two CBs to Washington today from Ole Miss mod Derrell Hart and Utah State mod Brian Phillips.

Have you tried TicketCity or one of the others to see if you can have any better luck?

I was able to get 4 tickets from Vet Tix for $3.50 a piece.

They aren't together, but we can make it work.

You will all end up together!! There will be a lot of no shows after the 1st quarter and you can move to the spot with the most room. I did it last week at the start of the 2nd half. My seats are end zone NN3 upper deck and I moved to the lower bowl on the 20 about 18-20 rows up with some family members.

Y'all enjoy the game!!!

I’d try to get you one, but there’s not enough time for the background check as well as the blood/urine sample needed.

Have a great time Saint. I'll be there at the game as well tomorrow. I live in Montgomery so if you ever get bored hit me up sometime and we will have an adult beverage or something. RTR!

LINK ]Updates on Top 10 uncommitted prospects in East (247Sports)

Darnell Wright
quote:

The early signing period is five weeks away, and as senior seasons come to an end, prospects are making official visits, trimming their lists and making final plans with their recruitment.

Meanwhile, others are just sinking their teeth into the recruitment process because their focus has been solely on their senior seasons, and scheduling official visits were on the back burner. Now, though, those prospects are giving more thoughts to setting up their visits.

There is also the decision of when to sign on their horizon. The early signing period begins Dec. 19, and runs through Dec. 21, and most of the prospects in the country will ink their binding national letters of intent then but others will wait and sign their letters during the traditional period, which begins Feb. 6.

From the top uncommitted prospect in the East Region, Huntington (W. Va.) High's Darnell Wright, to prospects in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia and Washington, D.C., we take a look at where the recruitment stands for the top uncommitted players in the region.

1. DARNELL WRIGHT, OT, HUNTINGTON (WV) HIGH

Darnell Wright is the No. 2 offensive tackle and No. 11 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite rankings, and his recruitment sits in wait-and-see mode as Huntington High's season presses forward. The 6-foot-6, 320-pound Wright made an unofficial visit to Penn State for the game against Ohio State in late September, but he is saving his official visits for after his senior season.

The Highlanders have a quarterfinal playoff game this weekend against Huntington (WV) Spring Valley. His offseason could start after that, or could start in early December, which will change his visit options. In addition to Penn State, Ohio State, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Miami, Clemson and North Carolina all remain in the mix for official visits.

ETA: Wright's HS team lost their playoff game.

Oh I will. I found a single ticket in the same section as two of my others so we'll somewhat be together until the crowd thins out.

If you are still comparing ages, I just joined this group today, at age 80.

Whether anyone cares or not, a little background. A Bama fan, starting shortly after the end of WWII (We got a radio, and there was a station close enough to receive it! And, it carried Bama football games.) We had the only cow pasture in the neighborhood, so that was where all the neighborhood ballgames were played. Per Jerry Clower, you had to be careful not to step in something.

I've been lurking here for about 10 years. Joined the rant a couple of months ago. Living in FL, I can't contribute much on recruiting. I may be able to help out a little on Bama history. I've lived through a lot of it, both good and bad.

Thanks to all for sharing the recruiting info. If you are a glutton for punishment, I give more details in my Rant Profile than most. At 80, there isn't any reason to hide a lot.

I'll try not to be too obnoxious.
Regards, and best wishes, OmniPundit.

Welcome "OmniPundit" finally someone older than me..70 been a true fan since 59 .. earliest I can remember Alabama football, went to lots of games in Legion Field and after being accepted to UA and then finding out I would not beable to pay for it...I ended up going to must smaller school and being a sidewalk alum.
Most here are tolerant and on the occasion they are jerks it is either in a weak moment or their attempt at humor
Post as you will, most will welcome a new point of view

I know I'm in the minority but I still don't understand why Darnell Wright is rated so highly.

I don't see it.

He can bend and he has movement, but I haven't seen him actually perform well in camp and his film doesn't blow me away.

Thanks. My Ph. D. from Bama was by the GI Bill, or I couldn't have afforded it either.
