On my iPad and accidentally downvoted you Surge, but you are spot on about Lia. He is ALL BAMA!!! Polynesian culture is just like the Mexican culture, they are all about family. Lia isn't going to flip and thus have mom and dad splitting up and going to different campuses in separate directions each week. Lia wants to be with Tua. The family only separated the two while in Hawaii so Lia could get more reps and further enhance his development.

It's just not a Polynesian or Mexican thing.

It's traditional to be close in familt in South American, African and Asian cultures.

It's really only here in America and European cultures where it is vogue or common to hate your siblings or want to get away from your family.

The reality is the parents made a decision for both boys and even if they didn't if you followed Tua's recruitment from the beginning Lia wanted to commit to Alabama before his brother did.

Truth. He has had his moments but he is no where near one of the best d lineman in the NFL. To many Niners fans around here to be tossing that around.

I didn't know Nick Mullens, the starting QB for the Niners went to Spain Park. Did anybody see him play in High School?

Hank talked to Christian Williams' father briefly today, since he visited LSU (unofficial) on Saturday. He said everything remains solid with with his commitment.

Hank on Kayvon Thibodeaux: "I'd probably lean to Oregon being the pick today, but he's not announcing until Dec. 15."

Take Two: Would Tua's brother consider anywhere other than Bama?

THE STORYLINE

The biggest news of Saturday night, other than Alabama whipping LSU in Baton Rouge, were the pictures of four-star quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa walking on the field during pre-game with LSU coach Ed Orgeron.

His brother, Tua, is of course Alabama’s starting quarterback and the Heisman Trophy favorite. Taulia, a four-star quarterback in the 2019 class, is already committed to the Crimson Tide.

But here was Tagovailoa and Orgeron walking around the place, being mentioned on the CBS broadcast and after the game, LSU defensive lineman Breiden Fehoko, a childhood friend of Tua's, telling him Taulia would end up playing for the Tigers. Joking or not, Orgeron is making a play for the younger Tagovailoa and doesn’t seem to be giving up.

Tua has become a superstar at Alabama and that might draw his brother to Tuscaloosa even more, or it could be a shadow no one can live under. Paul Tyson, Bear Bryant’s great-grandson, is also committed to the Crimson Tide in this recruiting class. LSU also has a 2019 QB pledge in three-star Peter Parrish.

Tagovailoa, who is completing 64 percent of his passes for 3,026 yards with 29 touchdowns and five interceptions and has also rushed for four scores this season at Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson, has shown no serious indication that he would even consider backing off his Alabama pledge.

But Orgeron and other schools are not backing down. Is there any chance in the world LSU can flip him or will Alabama have a Tagovailoa on its roster for years to come?

TAKE ONE: Chad Simmons, Rivals.com Southeast analyst

“Is there any way in the world? Yes, I think there is a chance he doesn’t end up at Alabama. I don’t see it happening right now, but there is always that chance until the papers are signed. All signs still point to Taulia ending up in Tuscaloosa. Yes, there is pressure if he follows Tua, but I don’t think those boys feel pressure. They seek to play their best under pressure. I will continue to monitor his recruitment, but ‘Bama looks to be in a good spot to keep him in this class.”

TAKE TWO: Mike Farrell, Rivals.com recruiting director

“That family is so tight, there’s no way he’s not going to follow his brother to Alabama, it doesn’t matter what happens. I don’t think he can be better than his brother because it’s hard to be better than near-perfect. The pressure situation is something I don’t think the family really worries about, otherwise Tua wouldn’t have gone to Alabama in the first place. Taulia is a competitor. I like him. He’s shorter, he has a stronger arm than Tua but not quite as accurate. I don’t see a way he could be better than his brother, but he could still be a very, very good quarterback there. He’s put up some pretty good numbers this season.”

Bad thing is he is going to be paid like one of the best. I think he has five sacks this year and maybe two of them are because he beat his guy. The other three are coverage sacks smh.

SEC: Each team's biggest Early Signing Period question

Darnell Wright
quote:

The Early Signing Period is just over six weeks away and programs across the country are looking for answers as they prepare to sign their 2019 classes. We look at the biggest questions facing each SEC program over the next six weeks.

ALABAMA: Will the Tide finish No. 1?

Alabama is coming off a 29-0 win over LSU in Baton Rouge and the Crimson Tide have shown they are the best team in college football this season. We know they will sign an elite class, so the real question is, will Nick Saban and his staff sign the top recruiting class this cycle?

Alabama currently sits on top with a 55-point lead over Oregon. There are some big-time targets still out there that Alabama is serious contenders for. It starts in state with five-star center Clay Webb. The list is long after Webb. Running back Trey Sanders, defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux, defensive tackle Ishmael Sopsher, offensive tackle Darnell Wright, offensive tackle Evan Neal and linebacker Nakobe Dean are all top-32 prospects in the country that have the Tide high on their list.

Expect Alabama to make a serious run this cycle.

Not sure I can wait until 11am for the announcement. It feels like pending doom and if little Tua flips to LSU I will need someone to help me off the ledge.
