He might be. But Bama might not want another DL that heavy on top of Dale and Sopsher. Plus Jason Jones is on board for 2020. Bama likes versatile DLs.

Yea im sure thats what you did. His junior film looks nothing like senior film.

I would like skill position guys but we need defensive lineman bad. Cant wait for the second signing period this time.

If the staff wants him then I would be excited. When the staff took Quinnen’s committment he wasn’t very highly rate. The staff had him as the #2 DL in the country but he was only like a high 3 star/low 4 star at the time (had a grade around 89/90). He got a good bump long after he committed but still only finshed as a medium 4 star (93 grade and #20 DT by 247).
Basically:
1). This staff (Saban) consistently evaluates better than the recruiting sites; and
2). I would have lost a bunch of money betting on who our next commitment would be over the past cycle.

Staff definitely made Ingraham a priority. It was mentioned a couple weeks ago that the staff liked him a lot, and he was a take.
Looks like this will be this years haul on the DL. Very impressive.
DT Ishmael Sopsher 6-4/330 LA
DT DJ Dale 6-3/320 AL
DL Antonio Alfano 6-4/285 NJ
DE Justin Eboigbe 6-5/263 GA
DE Byron Young 6-4/285 MS
DE Braylen Ingraham 6-4/260 FL

Yeah, when people talk about the "Bama Bump", I'm like: yeah, obviously Nick Saban and his staff are bettee than fricking 247. If they were elite, they'd be evaluating players for Saban or at least a good school.

The bama bump is a myth, some sites I swear drop their ratings just because they commit to us

If anyone still has reservations on whether we should take Wandale Robinson or not, take a look at what Rondale Moore of Purdue did to Ohio State on Saturday night.
Robinson and Moore are basically clones of one another. I'd love to see what we could do with a weapon of that caliber.

Recruiting roundup 10/22/2018: Tide lands in-state prospect
The recruiting trail wasn’t as active for Alabama this past week, as the Crimson Tide traveled to Knoxville, Tennessee, to face the Volunteers. Nonetheless, Alabama received a commitment from one prospect and extended an offer to another.
Alabama added a preferred walk-on commitment from 2019 safety Carson Ware on Wednesday. Ware, who goes to Muscle Shoals, isn’t the only player from his school currently committed to the Crimson Tide. Jackson Bratton, a 4-star 2020 inside linebacker, is already pledged to Alabama.

5-star 2020 defensive end Desmond Evans announced via Twitter he received an offer from Alabama. The 6-foot-6, 238-pound prospect is currently ranked the No. 1 player in North Carolina and No. 2 weak-side defensive end in the country, according to 247Sports Composite. Ohio State also extended an offer to Evans this week, according to another one of his tweets.
Coveted Alabama target Marcus Banks de-committed from LSU on Tuesday. The 4-star 2019 cornerback had been pledged to the Tigers since June. Banks visited Tuscaloosa in September for Alabama’s victory over Texas A&M. The Houston, Texas, native also received a visit from UA defensive backs coach Karl Scott in early October, according to 247Sports.

He is getting a lot of flack from LSU fans via his twitter feed!

Totally agree. The Bama Bump thing is silly. It's like saying a stock gets an artificial bump when Warren Buffet buys a lot of it. Guess what, the stock gets a bump because anyone being impartial knows that Buffet knows more about stocks than us so this company likely is undervalued.
