I think with some kids they fall in love with the idea of playing at Alabama. But when they see how much work is expected of them here they decide to take the easier path where the "de-recruiting" process after signing isn't so harsh.

For those worried about finishing #1, UGA just lost 5* Jason Haselwood a WR as a commit.

Mystifyingly enough, he'll probably end up at the Barn, despite them being a black hole for developing WRs.

CB’s to Miami starting to come in for Haselwood. His Miami OV is scheduled for this weekend against FSU.

That would be much better than the Barn. If we don't have a shot, I hope he goes to Miami. Although that would be a bit of a minor head scratcher too.

Apparently his dad played at Oklahoma and he took an OV there in April but for whatever reason Miami appears to be trending.

Yes he has visited them a lot. Some of their beat writers were almost predicting this de-commitment and saying Awbarn had real shot at him.

We are probably #2 tho right now behind MIA. But then again Cam is the bagman on this one so I like our chances
