Damn it I wanted D.Hill in our secondary. Michigan has tended to have their big fish flip late in the process so maybe Dax will have a change of heart. I wonder if we could turn up the heat on Nick Cross. Maybe he is 110% to FSU.

I think Hill wanted to commit to Bama in early August, but his dad talked him out of it. Cross would be a nice consolation. Hopefully FSU keeps on sucking and he'll get cold feet.
ETA: I'm not quite as pessimistic as Hank seems to be about Hill possibly flipping. But without an OV in our pocket it'll probably be hard to get him on campus again. Saban is pretty good on in home visits though. Hopefully, UM will have a terrible season.

I have been heavily downvoted for saying this in the past, but academics as a deciding factor (not major or degree specialization.. I'm speficially talking about how they weigh and rank university degree value) is the most overrated shite ever.
Nobody ask about where I got my degree or my masters. I employ people.

Hill talks to Scott and Tosh regularly and that's where the Bama staff's confidence was coming from pripr to his OV to Michigan. From what I've read from UM mods it sounds like UM promised him he'll start day-1. Bama doesn't promise that. Apparently, Minka and Surtain starting as true freshmen wasn't enough for him. If he's scared of competing for playing time at Bama, maybe it's better if he goes elsewhere.
