Coach Bryant was born on this day, 105 years ago.

Thank you for everything, Coach!

Well guys I'm not far from where Florence is supposed to hit. I don't know what I'll be doing but it's getting to close for comfort

Why are you still there?? Man I went through Katrina.. get out buddy. I like having you around here..If not for yourself, do it for the rescue crews that have to come in and risk their life’s because people didn’t leave. It’s not going to be pretty.. Katrina was only a Cat 3 when it hit us.

Don't wait. Leave before most of the people start evacuating. All of the highways and roads will become gridlocked. Gas stations will run out of gas. Hotel rooms can't be found. Leave early.

ETA: Accept TideWarrior's invitation.

This exactly.. a lot of people got trapped trying to leave late from Katrina. Gas will run out.. it will become a real life mad max senerio. I still have nightmares from what I saw during Katrina. I got out of Biloxi but had to go over to New Orleans to get my sister out as the water was rising. New Orleans would have been fine if it wasn’t for the levee’s breaking. I had to fire warning shots.. it’s gets that bad man. People will do anything to survive. Just google what really happened inside the super dome.. it’s sad man. They were stacking up bodies in the corners. Trust me when I say you don’t want to stay. I’m not trying to scare you buddy.. I’m really concerned for you.

Most gas stations have been empty around here since yesterday. Hotels all booked as well. Both the coast of NC & SC already mandatory evacuation with roads only leading out. Only emergency personal allowed towards the coast.

There was a fight this morning at the Walmart near where I work. The bread delivery guy rolled in his bread trays and everyone started yanking them off the cart. Water and generators were gone by yesterday and I am still 2.5 hours from Wilmington which is expected to take a direct hit or close to it.

LINK ]Alfano putting together dominant senior year thus far (BOL | embedded highlights video)

quote:

Alabama defensive line commitment Antonio Alfano is putting together an impressive senior season two games in for the Colonia (N.J.) Patriots.

The 4-star defensive end has tallied 20 tackles, including eight tackles for a loss. The 6-foot-4, 285-pounder has also showed his blocking ability on the offensive line racking up six pancake blocks.

Alfano is rated the No. 3 strong-side defensive end and the No. 54 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Rated the No. 44 overall player in the country by 247Sports, the Tide commit is in the conversation for a potential fifth star come National Signing Day, especially if he continues at his current pace and finishes his high school career off with a strong showing at the All-American Bowl in San Antonio this January.

As for recruiting, Alfano plans to visit Alabama and only Alabama this fall before graduating in December and enrolling at the Capstone in January.

"In the very beginning after I committed there were still schools that kept in contact with me,” Alfano said. “I kind of after that I let them know I’m 100% committed to Alabama and there’s no changing what I’m going to do. I’m not going to visit any other schools because to me if I’m talking to other schools, it’s like I’m committed to a girl but I’m cheating on her. That’s the analogy I think of. Why would I commit to a school and talk to other schools on the side.”

Check out the highlights from his latest game here.

I went through a hurricane once. It was brutal. I even took a few photos after the worst was over:

Sean, you should consider this a five star hurricane.

Love you too brother - but I can’t imagine a hurricane having a positive impact on your otherwise sunny disposition.
