Tim and Hank (BOL) CBd LINK ]Jameson Williams to Ohio St. Sources close to Williams say at least one person in his camp (his dad) favors UA, but two other sources say Jameson views OSU as a better opportunity for playing time and is likely to commit before his OV to UA on Oct 13. His other OVs: OSU 6/22, UCLA 9/15, Oreg 9/22, Neb 9/29.

Any receivers committing anytime soon. They should be trying to break down the door to get in with Tua at QB.

I haven't seen any recent indications of any WRs on the verge of committing. I think Bama's depth of young talented WRs is making it hard to land WRs in this cycle. It should be easier in the 2020 cycle when Jeudy, Smith and Ruggs are juniors.
2018 Roster - WRs (10) * = redshirt
SR: Derek Kief*, Xavian Marks
JR: None
SO: Jerry Jeudy, DeVonta Smith, Henry Ruggs III
FR: Tyrell Shavers*, Chadarius Townsend*, Jaylen Waddle, Xavier Williams, Slade Bolden
Receivers & Tight Ends (2-4)
4* WR/DB LINK ]John Metchie 6-0/195 MD hudl *
4* TE/WR LINK ]Jahleel Billingsley 6-4/216 IL hudl
4* WR Wandale Robinson 5-9.5/179 KY hudl
4* WR/S Milton Wright 6-3/200 KY hudl
4* WR Jameson Williams 6-2/170 MO hudl
4* WR George Pickens 6-3.5/190 AL hudl AU
With our young WR depth, higher priority needs at other positions and limited space left, it's OK if we don't land another WR in this class, imo. We'll only lose Kief and Marks. Adding Metchie would give us 9 WRs for 2019. Billingsley can also play WR in 2019 at his weight; he does now. Keilan Robinson is an APB/slot-WR type. Turnage is also an option at WR.

I'd love to see a few croots jump on board some time soon. Feels like it's been a while.

LINK ]Ishmael Sopsher, 5-star DT, Amite, LA
Sopsher may take five official visits, but it is likely to come down to two schools — Alabama and LSU. The Tigers are an in-state school and the head coach is Ed Orgeron, a coach who knows the defensive line position. Coach O and Sopsher have a strong relationship, and LSU is going to be tough to beat. Some think the decision may already be made, but Sopsher does not plan to announce his decision until Signing Day in February.
Prediction: LSU

LINK ]Clay Webb, 5-star OC, Oxford, AL
One of the most interesting prospects in the 2019 class is five-star offensive lineman Clay Webb. The Oxford (Ala.) star has been linked to the Alabama Crimson Tide for the last 18 months, but this race is far from over. Auburn is in this more than many thought they would be at this stage, and Clemson is a real contender.
But Georgia may be the school trending the most at this time. Webb is an early enrollee, and he plans to announce his decision and sign during the Early Signing Period in December. This is one that could have a few different predictions, and it will be very entertaining until that time. He likely won’t take all five official visits.
Prediction: Georgia

LINK ]Wandale Robinson, 4-star ATH, Frankfort, KY
The versatile offensive weapon has become a wanted man over the past few months, with some of the nation’s top programs jockeying to get him on campus. After taking summer official visits to Michigan and Purdue and several unofficial visits to programs like Florida State, Robinson opened the year by taking an official visit to Nebraska.
Long believed to be a lean to the in-state Wildcats, the Kentucky native now appears to be leaning toward the Huskers. In the coming weeks he plans to officially visit Alabama, and could be back in Lexington as well. Nevertheless, the chance to be featured in Nebraska’s new high-powered offense might be too much for Robinson to pass up.
Prediction: Nebraska
Note: Wandale Robinson's OV to UA is Sep 22.

LINK ]Trey Sanders, 5-star RB, Bradenton, FL
Sanders is a bit of a wildcard. He has a brother currently at Florida, making the Gators a serious contender. That said, it seems as though Sanders is most likely to end up at Alabama, the school to which he was once committed. Prospects don’t often recommit after backing off a pledge, but this may be one of the few exceptions to this rule. It wouldn’t be wise to rule UF out completely, but beating out the Tide is going to be a tall task. Official visits could change things, but Nick Saban has to feel pretty good about his standing with the five-star running back.
Prediction: Alabama
