LINK ]WATCH: Bama RB commit Keilan Robinson runs over defender (BamaOnLine)

Alabama is recruiting 4-star running back Keilan Robinson as more of a scat back-type runner as opposed to a downhill, in-between-the-tackles ball carrier. However, the 5-foot-9, 184-pounder put his power on display Saturday in a 49-0 win for St. John's College over Johns Creek.
>>> Twitter video
“I feel way faster than last year,” Robinson recently told 247Sports' Brian Dohn. “I know I am more explosive. I was pretty good at catching the ball last year, but I feel I am way better at that. Every year the game gets slower and slower, so I am more patient when I run and I am doing the small things that matter the most, like checking linebackers, checking the safety before the snap. All those little things are making my game much better.”
Robinson committed to the Crimson Tide in June over several other offers from programs like Florida State, Georgia, Maryland and Penn State, among others. The 247Sports Composite, an industry-generated average, ranks Robinson the No. 18 running back and the No. 353 overall player in the country.
Robinson isn't the only running back that Alabama hopes to add in its 2019 class; the Tide staff continues to pursue the nation's No. 1 ball carrier in former UA commit Trey Sanders as well.
St. John's College will travel to Alabama next Friday evening to take on Hoover (Ala.) in what should be an intriguing matchup between two national powers.

Alabama may have four offensive linemen committed in its 2019 class, but that's not keeping the Crimson Tide from continuing to put the pedal to the metal at the position.
Guys like 5-star center and 5-star tackles Darnell Wright and Evan Neal are the main prospects we've talked about as potential additions to an already loaded grouping that includes 5-star tackle Pierce Quick, 4-star tackles Amari Kight and Tanner Bowles and 4-star guard Darrian Dalcourt.
There's another name we've mentioned several times since the spring and that's 3-star guard LINK ]Kamaar Bell. The Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County product picked up an offer from Alabama in the spring, and on Sunday evening released his top six schools. His list, in no particular order, includes Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri and Mississippi St.
The 6-foot-3, 320-pounder visited Tuscaloosa back in April and then again for camp in June where he was said to have put on a dominant performance. The Peach State lineman returned to campus for the July Champions Cookout last month as well.

Bell named the Tide his leader after receiving an offer, and looked on the brink of committing more than once, but has opted to take his time to evaluate other offers that came in after Alabama. The Tide staff also continues to evaluate Bell as a potential addition in the class depending on how things shake out later this year.
It's clear that being the first to show legitimate interest is something that could potentially pay off for Alabama should it push down the line.
“I was just excited,” Bell said of Alabama interest earlier in the spring. “It’s just a winning program. That’s where people want to go. It’s every high school kid’s dream. It's the best SEC school and I come from the best high school, so ...," Bell said of what sets Alabama apart from others.
The 3-star lineman has seen a meteoric rise in interest this spring and summer. As mentioned above, the Tide was the first program to offer. Since that time, several SEC programs have joined the mix for the talented interior prospect.
Bell is rated the No. 24 guard and the No. 583 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings. The 247Sports Crystal Ball currently favors Ole Miss with just one prediction.
Alabama is currently positioned at No. 2 in the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings behind Georgia. The Tide has a score of 287.34 with 21 commitments on board. In comparison to the 2018 cycle, the Tide finished with a score of 289.94. With several elite targets still remaining on its recruiting board, expect Alabama to continue to climb in the standings on the way to potentially retaking the No. 1 ranked class come February.

LINK ]VIP Note: Latest on DL target Jaquaze Sorrells (BOL-VIP)
4-star DT Jaquaze Sorrells 6-3/290 FL hudl
Sorrells has decided he won't commit on Mon, Aug 27 as he had planned, per his head coach.
After coming to the Champions Cookout at the end of July: "I like Bama and I’m ready to see what the future holds."
SC was considered the favorite, so this is a posititive turn. Maybe he's waiting to see if he can get a spot in Bama's class. We'll see.

I'm not saying this to make anyone else worry, this is just how I see it. I still think he comes here.

Lilslym is very well connected and proven to be highly reliable. But it doesn't ensure that Webb's or any recruit's current situation isn't subject to changing.

Even if Webb had already verbally committed to Bama but continued listen to and visit UGA, AU and CU, imo there would still be considerable reason for concern. Fwiw, there have also been posts on BOL by Oxford, AL locals saying Webb has told kids at his HS that he's going to Bama.

Someone quickly find Sean, C Data, and few others to make sure they do not jump off the ledge. Need to be careful when posting around now with these type of words.

No doubt TS. But I would be pretty confident his commitment would stick unlike say, the second half of Quay Walker's commitment.
I am not as concerned as maybe my post might have implied. Personally if we ended with Neal and Wright I would be fine (except for losing an in state guy). I just wish Webb would go ahead and "put a ring on it."

Btw, Commander Data recently mentioned that he's been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. He has worrying spells that do affect what he posts. So let's not be so hard on him. He's a diehard fan and his feelings are hurt when fellow fans call him an idiot and such.

I know and I agree. Heck, even if we only land one of Neal and Wright and miss on Webb, we'd still have a great OL class. And if that happened, it seems pretty likely that we'd also take Bell (underrated mauler), provided he'll qualify.

Mentally fragile people like Commander Data should find another hobby besides following college football. It's a known stressor that can send even reasonable people over the edge. He should take up knitting, origami or meditation on Saturdays.

I am not calling anyone names just worried for a few of them at times when things do not seem all to positive. I have no problem with any of these guys as they support the team just from a different prospective.
