Saint has LSU next to his name. The last time he did it, the LSU fans got extremely pissy about it. I love this time of year

Hello All.
This is my first post but I have been reading this board for a couple of years. I have found it to be a very good source of information as it relates to Alabama football. Not just the recruiting side of things but I've enjoyed several of the back stories that I wouldn't have known otherwise.
A little about me, I played football at Hazlewood High School in the early to mid 80's. Some of the names you guys may remember during that time are Chris Goode, Kerry Goode, Pierre Goode, Clyde Goode, Antonio Langham among others. I currently work in nuclear power and have been a huge Alabama fan since I was a kid. Through the good years and the bad, I can say it has been a rollercoaster of a ride and right now is a great time to be a fan.
NOTICE: I am not an Insider nor do I claim to be so anything I post on here will be my opinion.
With that being said, I am going to put in my 2 cents worth concerning a few of the topics that have made the news recently.
First, the quarterback issue... I want to say I am very thankful for Jalen Hurts. He is a special type of player at his age to be so calm and cool under pressure in his first two years as quarterback for the TIDE. If he dosen't win the starting quarterback job, I want to be one of the first to thank him for the service he has done in the two years he was the starting quarterback. I just wish he had a solid 20-25 yard passing game. With that being said, I do believe Tua will eventually be the starter and that Jalen will only play in 4 games to ensure he will be able to transfer and have 2 years to play 2 years under the new redshirt rules as a graduate transfer.
Recruiting - Alabama has a heck of a recruiting class right now and I agree with several of you that it will be one of our best when it is finished. We are in the mix for LOTS of 5* players. I know we will not get them all but Alabama has set themselves up to finish very strong. I do believe Kirby Smart will be a pain at Georgia, Jeremy Pruitt at Tennessee could cause some noise after he gets established and with Jimbo Fisher at A&M in the years to come. They are going to pick up some players that Saban would have easily been in the lead for. Let's face it, we can't get them all. These three worked for Saban for years and they learned from the best on how to recruit. Let's be honest, Saban's team at LSU when he left for Miami was the most talented team in the country and Les Miles walked into a gold mine when he was hired. Saban has done the same at Alabama. Recruit the best, develop that talent and WIN. Not to mention the number of players that have gone to the NFL. The process is simple and Saban is the best at it.
The Playoffs - I would really like to see the playoffs expanded to 16 teams. That's right... 16. Before you jump all over me, hear me out. I would propose doing away with the conference championship game and have the divisional champs in the playoffs for the power 5. Of course they would be put in on opposite sides of the bracket so if they met in the championship game they would have beat all other conferance champions. That would account for 10 of the 16. This would allow the committee to choose teams outside the power 5, as well as deserving teams (such as Alabama last year) who didn't win their division. This format would add 1 extra game to the season but if that is really a problem, just drop 1 non conference game. The top bowls could continue to rotate the championship game and it would also add some quality games before Christmas.
Anyway, good to be here and I hope to be involved in many of the discussions.

The board has been a little touchy lately. You better be a fan of the forward pass.

Mohamoud Diabate hasn't visited Bama since early spring and told Hank that dialog had dropped off some in July. He visited UF in late July and recently tweeted that he'll announce a commitment on Aug 22. He's received 7 CB forecasts to UF in the last three days, including Tim Watts, Hank South and Steve Wiltfong.
Tl;dr -- He gone.
