That new Oklahoma mod just CB'd Daxton Hill to Michigan.
The other Michigan mod (not Steve Lorenz) CB'd Wandale Robinson to Michigan as well.

Hill to Michigan is picking up steam. That’d be a real shame to see him waste his talent with such a loser of a coach.

If he goes to UM then maybe that opens up another spot for a DL (Tuitele) or we turn up the heat on flipping Akeem Dent.

Cross or Pola-Gates. The heat is already up on Dent. Daxton don't let the Khakis fool you, Harbaugh is not to be trusted.

OUinsider Drumm's CB pic is based on his gut feeling. He's one of the OUinsider geniuses that's had Daxton Hill as an OU lock, even though Hill hasn't been visiting them. I think he's clueless.
My gut feeling: Hill will commit to Bama SOON.

Goddamn I love LSU fans.
One of them simulated their whole 2018 season on NCAA 2014 and posted a synopsis of over half the games:

First off I apologize for the length of this thread. I know a lot of people have made threads like these already, but I just wanted to share this because it was quite entertaining. Even though it’s only a video game, watching this was frustrating as hell and many of the games legit pissed me off. The one positive that would result from a season like this would be getting to watch the rant explode due to angry tirades from the fan base. But here’s a little game to game break down on how the season went...
GAME 1: vs Miami
Really frustrating game to watch. Burrow and the offense struggle immensely, and we finished the first quarter with only two yards of total offense as each drive was a three and out. The defense was tremendous, however, holding Miami to a 3-0 halftime lead by virtue of a good punt return. The second half picked up a little bit, as CEH took a screen pass 40 yards to the house and Burrow ran one in himself to make it a 14-3 game going into the 4th. Miami kicked two more field goals, including one with thirty seconds to go to make it a 14-9 game. On the onside kick attempt, Michael Divinity recovered the ball and tried to run with it. He was hit hard by a Miami player and fumbled, which was recovered by Miami and returned inside the 5 yard line. Malik Rosier then found the tight end who hadn’t done crap all game wide the hell open for the game winning score 16-14.
GAME 2: Southeastern
Not much to talk about here, Burrow was much improved, throwing for over 300 yards. We won the game 48-7, and Thaddeus Moss was the MVP with five catches for 105 yds and two scores.
GAME 3: at Auburn
Quite the shittastic performance here. I had to bench Burrow for Brennan because he threw two picks on his first two passing attempts, one of which was returned for an AU TD. CEH and Chris Curry each had solid games, but we ended up losing 34-17. The game wasn’t as close as the score indicated.
GAME 4 LA Tech:
Slow start for the Tigers, we actually trailed 10-3 at half and at this point it’s looking like Orgeron might get fired mid game. However, the offense comes alive in the second half, Burrow throws for three scores, Neil Farrell returns a fumble for a touchdown on a botched option play, and the Tigers pull it out 35-13.
GAME 5: Ole Miss
No idea what happened here. Jordan Ta’amu looks like a Heisman candidate and no one in the secondary can stop A.J. Brown as the Rebels roll to a 41-28 victory. Burrow and Stephen Sullivan at least played well, but the defense was definitely to blame for this loss.
GAME 6: at Florida
Much improved in this game. Felipe Franks looks like dog shite once again and the inconsistent Tigers roll the Gators 24-7. Jonathan Giles has a coming out party here as he scores all three touchdowns, one of which comes on a punt return.
GAME 6: Georgia
The Tigers use the momentum from their big road victory to their advantage in this one junping out to a 17-10 halftime lead thanks in part to CEH’s 120 all purpose yards in the first half. However, the offense struggles yet again in the second half, and our only points come on a Chaisson safety. Georgia takes a 20-19 lead late, but the CEH returns the ensuing kick return for a game winning touchdown. Unfortunately, a bullshite clipping call on Jacob Phillips negates the score and the tigers lose yet again.
GAME 7: Mississippi State
This game was reminiscent of 2014, as Nick Fitzgerald runs wild on the LSU D putting the Bulldogs ahead 28-6 heading into the 4th. Joe Burrow scores on an 80 yard option keeper, however, MSU’s defense prevails and we lose 28-14.
GAME 8: Alabama
This was the absolute worst of them all. Despite our crappy season, Alabama had an arguably even more disappointing start by racking up two baffling losses to Louisville and Arkansas. LSU takes an early lead as Ed Paris of all people returns two interceptions for touchdowns. However, Alabama blocks the PAT on the second pick six and returns it, making it 13-2 at the half. LSU holds onto that score until there are 27 seconds remaining in the ball game. On fourth and ten from their own 47 yard line, Alabama is able to score their first TD of the game, as Tua hits Henry Ruggs on a 53 yard bomb. We once again sctew up on an easily recoverable onside kick, and Alabama is able to get the ball back with 10 seconds remaining. On the last play of the game, Tua rolls around and heaves one to the end zone where some white tight end is standing completely uncovered for the game winning Hail Mary. 15-13 the Tide continues the streak and I nearly break my controller.
At that point I was done watching that crap so I just simulated the rest of the games without having to actually watch. We ended up winning out the rest of the year, preserving our streak against the Aggies and finishing with a 6-6 record. We then went to the Birmingham Bowl where we eaked out a win against Navy. No way Orgeron would survive a season like that.

Interesting that on the heels of Ohio St firing their WR coach, Marcus Washington, who had about 14 OSU CBs (100%), got 3 new CBs to Mizzou today; from an OSU247 mod, a Land of 10 guy, and a Texas Mod.
Maybe the WR coach firing will end up helping our chances with Jameson Williams.
ETA: The Texas mod also CBd Jeffery Carter to OU last night. That's the 2nd Carter to OU CB lately. Apparently, OU is pushing for Carter since they realized they're not getting Daxton Hill.
Another Marcus Washington to Mizzou CB this morning from a Bucknuts guy.

Wasn't Washington the guy that fell about 500 spots in the ranking (or something like that) somewhat mysteriously (Think they said it was due to consistently poor camp performances)? Prompted some OSU fan to ask one of the mods if his arms had fallen off or something like that.

Horn Lake's Nakobe Dean is a straight-A student and a 5-star linebacker
quote:
HORN LAKE — When Andy Orr, the principal at Horn Lake High School, speaks with a freshman or a new student at the beginning of the school year, he first looks for a straight-A student who’s also the highest-rated football player in the state of Mississippi. He looks for Nakobe Dean.
Once Orr finds Dean, he points and says, “Be like him.”
Orr doesn’t point at Dean for his athletic accomplishments, though those are substantial. He points at Dean for his performance in the classroom and his behavior in the halls. He hasn’t made a B since an eighth-grade typing class. He never gets in trouble. Two years ago, when Dean had surgery for a broken left wrist, he came off the anesthesia asking for math problems.
Dean leads a disciplined life with a strict schedule. Every day, he comes home and eats a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, if not two or three. He always uses crunchy JIF peanut butter and Welch’s grape jelly on wheat or whole grain bread. He never cuts the sandwich. Once, when the family was out of grape jelly, he used maple syrup.
“I can’t stand peanut butter by itself,” Dean said as he scrunched his face.
During the school year, Dean will eat his snack, study for a few hours then work out before dinner. Sometimes he will study again. When Dean takes trips he always brings his backpack and a book in the car. If the sun sets, Dean turns on a light to continue reading.
“When we deviate from that routine he shows it,” said Dean’s mother, Neketta Dean. “He gets irritated and exasperated.”
As much as Dean maintains a consistent routine, his room at home is not a reflection of his sometimes rigid schedule. On a day in mid-July, Dean’s room is a mess. He hasn’t made his bed. Random objects litter his bedside table. Clothes begin to form a pile.
While Dean stands in the doorway of his room, clutching the frame as he rocks back and forth, a smoke alarm in need of a new battery beeps periodically behind the door. Neketta bought batteries a while ago. They are somewhere in Dean’s room. He can’t find them.
“I have to clean it today ‘cause my mom will kill me,” Dean said.
Dean’s walls are painted bright yellow for his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. (He has loved Pittsburgh ever since it beat the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII.) He tucked a picture of Neketta when she graduated from college behind a small cork board. Next to the photo, he placed an old report card he thought he might need. All As.
Every semester since sixth grade, Neketta has rewarded a perfect transcript with $100. She doesn’t give allowances. “If you want to earn some money then let me see your grades,” she said. She has given him more than $1,000.
“I always was scared if I didn't make that grade she was going to keep me from going to practice,” Dean said.
Dean turns to leave his room and walk downstairs, but before he does, someone finds the batteries for the smoke alarm. They were hiding on top of his dresser, under a pile of recruiting mail.
Dean could brag about his life. He has dozens of scholarship offers from premier college football teams. He’s a versatile, five-star linebacker who had 147 tackles (25 for a loss) with nine sacks as a junior. But when colleges send mail to Horn Lake, he picks it up, puts it in his book bag and doesn’t say a word.
He has whittled his list to Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Florida State and LSU. He won’t make a decision until December. As he considers schools, he looks for the best education he can find — he wants to major in engineering or pre-med and is interested in prosthetics — without sacrificing his chance to win a national championship.
“There's a lot of 6-foot, 220-pound kids playing football,” Horn Lake head coach Brad Boyette said. “They're all over the country. When you put in his athletic ability, his speed, a 41-inch vertical — this is why this guy is so special. He has unbelievable talent.”
Dean has a vision for his life, but there are temptations everywhere. He has seen crime up close and once left a party because someone started shooting a gun. He’s aware of the pitfalls that could derail his life. The key is to avoid them.
So even though Dean has already accomplished so much, he approaches his life as if he has accomplished nothing. In one corner of his room, blankets and a comforter cover Dean’s old trophies. He realized if he spends his life pursuing more of them, he’ll never feel fulfilled.
“I used to glorify trophies,” Dean said. “Now I want to throw them away.”
