Used to be a little hole in the wall nightclub/bar back in the early 2000's. Guess they decided to think their shite don't stink....glad I got out of that shithole city.

Appears so.

We decided to get out of the devil house and enjoy all of the River Region seedy underbelly.

Lek's is really good Thai

Now we're at this bar called Dooley's in Millbrook where you have to pay for a membership to go in.

I'veever seen anything like it.

.

I wonder what that's about? Back when I was in Texas all the time, half of the counties east of I-35 were dry, but they all had a "private club" exclusion. So pretty much any restaurant you went into, you had to sign up and join and then they'd serve you. Then they got Unicards, so you could just flash the one card at every place in the state. They were pretty much all free, though.

Maybe it's something like that?

ETA - I just read Bamad's post. Maybe Millbrook has just gone uptown.

The bartender said it allows them to stay open until sunrise, whatever the frick that means.

The pool tables are level and the classic rock music is on point so I'm having fun.

Nick Saban remembers father, talks national championship team at Mercedes-Benz event
quote:

I am probably more proud of this team than all the other teams, because this team had to overcome more adversity... more injuries... we had to overcome a lot to win the championship game...

It was a metaphor of life. It's what we are all faced with. We are all going to have hardships... difficulties... adversity to overcome.

So, my message to the team after the game, was don't forget this season. Don't forget this game. This will serve you well in your future, in terms of what can help you be successful.

Four-star ATH names Tide top school after visit (BOL-VIP)

4* ATH Christian Harris 6-1/225 Baton Rouge, LA

Harris played WR and CB last season. Bama likes him at ILB. He visited Saturday and plans to visit during spring practice. He's very high on the Tide.

Hank South (BOL) has CB'd Harris to Bama.

He's top 100 on 247. As usual with someone we lead for, he ranks much lower on Rivals.

I'm sure Farrell has him as a 7SU lock.

Guy has to be either really fluid or really fast to play those positions at that size.

Question is, is he physical too?

About to watch his stuff...

UHigh is easily the best football program in Louisiana. Several studs on their team in the 2019 class. Jaquelin Roy, a DT, who is in the 2020 class might be the best. The kid is being compared to Glenn Dorsey.

Man what's in the water in Louisibama. A kid Harris size isn't suppose to move that smooth. Look at his camp highlights and he is much bigger than everyone when he lines up but just as athletic.
