Looks like Kane Patterson is committing to Ohio State tomorrow.

If we finished with Ika, Lee, Neal, Tuitele, Webb, Hill and Sanders, that would mean that every single one of our signees (sans the kicker) would be a 4/5 star Top 300 prospect.
- 21 of the 26 would be Top 250 players
- 13 of the 26 (HALF) would be Top 101 players
- 10 of the 26 would be Top 77 players
- 7 of the 26 would be top 44 players
- 5 of the 26 would be top 30 (5-star) players
That's just an insane haul of elite players and elite depth. And, while recruiting is ALL THE FLUIDS, things are much more in place and situated than in past years at this point. That haul noted above is definitely not a wild in the dark hope, and there are probably 7 other Top 50 players that could be part of it not even mentioned (Wright, Sopsher, Dean, Thibodeaux, Pickens, Diabate, Dent, Pola-Gates)
Crazy

Those are some amazing statistics. I also believe many of these guys will be higher in the final recruiting rankings. The mock class calculations numbers, even in Bama's "worst case scenarios" are still epic classes. 2019 class is going to be awesome.

Since saban's arrival, have we finished with only one 3 star player in a class? I don't think so.
The least amount of 3 stars we’ve had in a class is 4 in both the 2014 and 2015 classes.
Those players were:
2014:
DT O.J. Smith (transferred to Minnesota)
JUCO TE Ty Flournoy-Smith
P J.K. Scott
OG Montel McBride (didn’t qualify)
2015:
LB Christian Bell (transferred to Wisconsin)
JUCO DT Jonathan Taylor (transferred to Southeastern Louisiana)
LB/S Keaton Anderson
OT Matt Womack
We only had 5 in the 2017 class:
QB Mac Jones
CB Kyriq McDonald
OL Hunter Brannon
K Joseph Bulovas
LS Thomas Fletcher

Tyrique Stevenson
ATLANTA – The crop of defensive backs at the 2018 five-star challenge was led by No. 1 overall prospect Derek Stingley, but the talent pool certainly didn’t end with him. Players with rankings throughout the Rivals250 and beyond showed off their talent at the event. Some exceeded the hype. Some met it. Others fell short of expectations. Below, in the defensive back stock report, Rivals.com has a look at each cornerback and safety’s performance.
STOCK UP
LINK ]Tyrique Stevenson also made a push for MVP honors. His size makes him incredibly versatile and his athleticism is unmistakable. He’s underranked at this juncture. That much is clear. How much he’ll shoot up the rankings is the only lingering question.
STOCK STEADY
LINK ]Akeem Dent was as advertised at the event. A five-star prospect that played like a five-star prospect, the Florida State commit has elite athleticism and has been coached extremely well.
LINK ]Devonta Lee’s size is his calling card. And while he might be a linebacker in the end, he certainly didn’t do anything to hurt his stock playing safety at the event.

Justin Flowe
ATLANTA - With the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge presented by adidas in the rearview mirror, it's time to issue stock reports for each position. Take a look at how each linebacker fared under the lights of the Mercedes-Benz Dome.
STOCK STEADY
LINK ]Justin Flowe was pretty hard not to put in the stock up category, but he didn’t make it only because there’s not really anywhere else for him to go. Currently the nation’s No. 2 overall player in the class of 2020, Flowe dominated the event and was so impressive that he might even be considered the No. 1 linebacker if he were in the 2019 class.
LINK ]Christian Harris is the type of player who does a little bit of everything for his high school team, including playing wide receiver. In Atlanta, he lined up at linebacker and looked the part, especially wish his size and build. It’s not often a wide receiver could translate to middle linebacker at the next level, but Harris looks like that’s exactly what he might be able to do. Considering his standing as a four-star outside of the Rivals250, his stock stayed steady.

In the stream of CBs for Kane Patterson to Ohio State, I seent a new CB for Trey Sanders to Bama from a Florida State beat writer.

Have any names been confirmed/speculated for the second Champions Cookout or is it to early?
Looking back, have we had a public commit from any prospect who attended the first cookout?

The only names I've seen mentioned so far is Hank said Trey Sanders and Darnell Wright will be at Cookout #2, and probably Ika too. He said Evan Neal wishes he could make it, but can't.
2020 DT Jayson Jones committed early last week and iirc he was at the cookout. Does that count?
ETA: Akeem Dent is expected at our Cookout.

Yep, you are right on Jayson. I mean he was committing to us on July 2nd regardless but as I learned recently technically correct is the best kind of correct.

Idk if you’ll acknowledge a peasant like myself but will we have good news on Dean?

It's close. Last time I touched this topic my inbox was full of fan mail lol. I haven't changed where I think he goes, but Bama is all over him.
