If they fail to qualify, it stands to reason they lack the academic foundation needed to succeed in college. So, it's arguably in their best interest to go to juco and build that foundation.
and thats fine if that ends up being what happens with a particular player, but why penalize the school for giving the guy a shot in the first place? there will be players in that mix who get passed over from even being offered by a major school but would have made it in under the previous rules, and thus they get less of an opportunity to get exposure/high quality coaching by having to go to 2 years of a CC. Better coaching, training, academic support at places like alabama and ohio state than any CC or JUCO

In Hank's recruiting chat someone posted a mock class with 27 players. It was exactly the same as the mock class I posted here this evening, except it didn't include Devonta Lee or Pickens. It included Ika. Hanks reply: "That's a pretty solid projection I'd say for the time being."

Bama should've had Davis take an ACT test before signing him. If they had, they'd have known it was pretty doubtful he'd qualify. Bama shouldn't have given him an NLI to sign, imo. They should've given him a letter promising to add him to the class in the summer if he was able to qualify. Imo, it's Bama's own fault they lost his signee spot.

Noa Pola-Gates released a top 10 tonight:

At this point he probably needs a few prospects ahead of him to go elsewhere in order to get a committable offer.

Daevion Davis was an in-state DT the board liked a few months ago. I see he committed to Vanderbilt last week.

Good for him. Real good player and kid, but just too short. My son coaches DL at his HS. He coached LaBryan Ray too; favorite kid he's ever coached.

This class is such a breath of fresh air after the frustration of last year's cycle. The one thing this class is currently missing is several 5-stars to headline the class. We have Quick, but no others. I know we're in on a ton, I just wish a couple would pull the trigger soon. Seems most of them are waiting.

Tuitele seems to be dropping down our board. Most insiders think Ika has taken his spot. The 5-stars I really want:

Webb
Sopsher
Dean
Sanders
Hill
Thebodeaux

Does anyone have an idea of how many or which commits thus far are early enrollees?

Or how many or which recruits from the latest “mock” class are early enrollees?

Thanks in advance
