Man we don't got room or time for that
There are better targets than Eboigbe. Means no Byron Young.

Yeah I know, but wasn't one of the heavily highlighted targets.
Kid is physical and fast. Definitely a QB rusher and I think his ratings will go up.
However for months these guys have been talking up other talents

BREAKING: Georgia DL Justin Eboigbe commits to Alabama
quote:
Another day, another commitment for Alabama football.
That’s what it’s felt like since early April with the momentum the Crimson Tide staff has gained this offseason on the recruiting trail.
On Monday, four-star defensive end Justin Eboigbe announced his commitment to Alabama over Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, and Tennessee, among many other offers. The Forest Park (Ga.) product made up his mind on the Tide last week during a visit.
“Going back to Bama Monday and really sitting down with Coach (Nick) Saban, Coach (Josh) Gattis, Coach (Tosh) Lupoi, and Coach Kool (Craig Kuligowski), and just talking about the best opportunity and where they see me fitting in their scheme,” Eboigbe told BamaOnLine. “And then coming to the realization about being developed by the best. Alabama is the best. To get better you’ve got to go against the best every day. Realizing that, that made me come to the decision that Alabama is the place to be.”
Oftentimes recruits commit to a school because of their relationship with their primary recruiter or another coach on staff. In talking with Saban, the UA headman made it clear that no matter who’s on staff at Alabama, as long as Saban is there, the Tide will continue to roll.
“He was just telling me how no matter what coaches come and go,” Eboigbe said. “Coach Pruitt was there, Coach Smart was there, Coach Fisher (at LSU) … all these guys that got head coaching positions that were coordinators under him. And no matter how many coaches he brings in to replace them, the system stays the same. Guys try to copy what he does. The level of dominance he had at LSU and now at Alabama, no matter who comes in, it’s always him that has the game plan.”
Wide receivers coach Josh Gattis is Eboigbe’s primary recruiter but, as the four-star defensive lineman said, his relationship with all the coaches really sold the program. His talk with Kuligoswki last week was just another point of assurance that Alabama was the right choice.
“Right before he went to Alabama, he offered me at Miami,” Eboigbe said of Kuligowski. “He talked to me about his track record at Miami and especially Missouri with all the guys that weren’t highly-touted coming out of high school. He talked about how he developed them. Every year at Missouri they won games because of the D-line. He was saying you’re coming to system where they already have a dominant game plan as far as what Coach Saban wants.
“He’s developed so many guys into the league. When I sat down in (Kuligowski’s) office on Monday he was telling me about guys like Markus Golden, Michael Sam, Sheldon Richardson, Kony Ealy … a lot of these guys he’s developed to play on Sundays or have a chance to play on Sundays.”
Coming from Georgia, Eboigbe understands that some will be upset with his decision to go out of state, but that’s not going to deter him.
“It’s really just the best decision for me,” he said.
At 6-foot-4.5, 263 pounds, Eboigbe is rated the No. 10 strong-side defensive end and the No. 126 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings.
With Eboigbe's commitment, Alabama's No. 1-ranked class now stands with 16 pledges onboard for a score of 271.76 according to the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings. For comparison to last year, the Tide finished the 2018 cycle with a score of 285.83.

Fair enough
He's been one of my favorite guys this cycle. Can play really anywhere along the DL. Was honestly shocked when saw he had committed to ya'll. Thought UGA was the main threat

I think it means that Cheney will have to look elsewhere. We're still going to get at least 3 of Tuitele, Sopsher, Young, Pickering, Ika.

Surge has been saying that we appear to be recruiting a lot of versatile prospects that are capable of playing either WR or DB. Metchie seems like another one like Hellams, Turnage and Devonta Lee that could do either.

Leal and Stephon Wright are higher priorities (granted different positions) than Ika. And maybe even one or two others on that list.

If Coach Kool wants him I don’t care who was above him in the ratings.
All that guy does is turn out 1st rounders.

We'll see. His momma loves Garner & that tends to work out in our favor (Derrick Brown, Marlon Davidson, Montravius Adams...)
But no doubt will have to recruit him until the finish
