Have seen it on 3 different message boards. No articles on it. One of the people who posted it has legit good info, though.

Thanks. I just brought it up on the BOL board to see what anyone with sauces has heard. No responses yet.

One of the Florida beat guys mentioned it on the Bill King show Tuesday (i.e., that Trey's brother still appears to be headed to UF despite the visit to Bama). He wans't 100% positive though - he basically said that's the way it looks right now.

I understand that Sanders wants to be on a team with his brother, but damn. Why would any quality back want to play for Mullen? Backs are an afterthought in his system.

I just don't understand why guys don't go, "Hey look at that offensive line recruiting and track record of heisman winners and highly drafted running backs. I should go there."
One thing that has annoyed me is people got a lot of traction that Bama wears out running backs during the Derrick Henry heisman year. I heard it all over the country. I was shouting from the roof tops this is the only year we ever relied on one primary back, we always split carries. Ingram, Richardson, Lacey, Yeldon, Henry. They would just look at me like I had seven heads.

That might only be a homerific beat writer's assumption that he's planning to enroll at UF simply because there's been no indication that he's not. I wonder if that show is what directly or indirectly triggered the stuff Bama3714 has seen on message boards.

Damien Harris has two straight 1,000 yard seasons and he doesn't even get 20 carries a game. Like you said, Henry is the only back we've ridden the entire season. He's a freak of nature so that doesn't even count
. He broke defenses as the game went on.

If I had a nickel for every kid who bought the "we've just never had a player like you" pitch I could take a nice two week vacation to the Caribbean.

Nick Saban had a (totally joking) message for offensive coaches at today’s Angelo Football Clinic:
“You’re ruining the game with RPOs and illegal guys downfield. And you think it should be legal. You think it’s normal. Kiss my arse.”
Got a big laugh. Pretty great.

It wasn't just in Idaho.
The kid who got it lives in the same fricking town we were in.

The news said they didn't know where he got it, but I have a pretty good guess.
The local prairie dog population (called Whistle Pigs up there) has had the Plague for the last couple years.
He was probably playing around near a dead one and he picked it up.
