Stay in Columbus.

Literally no idea where this is.

This whole Bama thing is new to me, forgive my ignorance. Meridian seemed to be about the portion of the drive back where I got sleepy last time after the LSU/Bama game. I knew I was in trouble when I still had 3 hours to go.

45 minutes West of Tuscaloosa on Highway 82 in Mississippi.

I was stationed there for 4 years and it's my wife's home town.

ETA: It's where the football team stays the night before games.

In-state CB Williams hearing most from trio of SEC programs (BamaOnLine-VIP)

Christian Williams, a four-star CB (6-1/177) from Daphne (AL), confirmed he'll attend Alabama's Junior Day event next weekend.

“I’m really kind of interested in everybody, see what everybody has to offer. The people that hit me up the most are probably Alabama, Auburn and LSU...

“I have always been an Alabama fan [family too], so I’ve always leaned towards them... I love their standard to win. They motivate you to be better and make yourself better every single day.”

Alabama recruiting question of the day: Tide’s defensive line targets in 2019 class

Ishmael Sopsher is the nation's No. 1 recruit.
quote:

Alabama finished 7th in the recruiting rankings in the 2018 class, but expect the Crimson Tide to be back on top in 2019. SEC Country’s Chris Kirschner will answer the Recruiting Question of the Day each weekday. You can ask him your questions on  Twitter or Facebook. Find our previous questions and answers  here.

Alabama only signed two defensive linemen in the Class of 2018 in 4-star prospects Christian Barmore and Stephon Wynn. The Tide missed on Bobby Brown, who flipped from Alabama to Texas A&M on National Signing Day, and Malik Langham, who signed with Florida.

Some top defensive line targets in the 2019 class include:
5-star DT Ishmael Sopsher,
5-star DE Chris Hinton,
4-star DT CJ Clark,
4-star DT DJ Dale,
4-star DT Jaquaze Sorrells,
4-star DT Travon Walker,
4-star DE Nathan Pickering,
4-star DE Savion Jackson.

That list will grow over the next few months when Alabama starts hosting junior day events and camp season rolls around in the summer.

I certainly expect Alabama to sign over two defensive linemen in the 2019 class.

Guessing wife saw the pic

FWIW, mine will make me do the same.

Also - your gal’s a damn fine lady. Tough of course to tell from one pic but she seems really relatable (which is a big deal to me).

I agree that Surge has been doing a GREAT job for a while now

I think that Bama's staff (Locksley) should go all in this cycle for Tyson and Taulia...but Saban won't change the "Process" he uses of evaluating talent and offering as they see fit.

Gotta do better in state this year...I realize it wasn't nearly as strong in 2017 but it is in 2018. I'm just interested to see how this new staff does recruiting this cycle

2 QB's, 2 RB's. 5-6 DL especially DT's, those are the big ones
