Kamaar Bell really saw a huge change in his recruitment after he received an offer from Alabama. He went from a guy that held no offers to someone who now holds a total of seven offers and is listed as a 3-Star recruit, which could be upgraded to a 4-Star before signing day. Bell has noticed this change himself.

“Teams have been more likely to come out with an offer now,” Bell said.

The Georgia-native now holds offers from Kentucky, Indiana, Florida, UCF, Ole Miss and USF. All of those offers came in May after Alabama offered him in April. Bell hasn’t visited any of the schools that have offered him during the month of May. The Tide should expect Bell to visit very soon.

He expressed that he does like USF, Florida and Ole Miss, but Alabama is not trying to let Bell get away as their offensive line coach, Brent key, has stayed in constant contact with Bell since he received his offer.

Bell keeps the same excitement that he has always had about the Tide.

“I just grew up learning about great football and Bama is the perfect place,” Bell said.

Do not get it confused, Bell’s talent on the gridiron is outstanding and he is very deserving of everything that has come his way. He makes his living in the trenches. Once he has hands on a defender, it is pretty much over. He also has decent footwork, which is very important for an offensive tackle.

Alabama is going to be very lucky to get this guy’s services in their 2019 recruiting class and the fact that they offered first gives them a huge leg up. Touchdown Alabama Magazine will keep you updated on his recruitment.

Siaki Ika had heard great things about Washington from teammates and friends that had made it up to Seattle, yet what he saw for himself Friday surpassed those lofty expectations.

The four-star defensive tackle from Salt Lake City (Utah) East traveled to Montlake for a one-day unofficial visit to see the facilities, tour the campus and meet with the coaching staff. The Huskies had been a player in the recruitment from the moment they offered last September and, after Ika’s first taste of Seattle, they are firmly entrenched as a viable contender.

“I had never been out here before and I loved the experience,” Ika told 247Sports. “It was different feel and vibe than other places, but it was great for me. It exceeded my expectations. I know the coaches are cool and it felt good to be in that environment.

“The coaches made it very clear that I’m high on their board and that’s something that sticks with me. The biggest thing for me is that coach Ikaika Malloe and coach K (Pete Kwiatkowski) are there for you more than just a coach. There is a big family vibe there.”

As BamaOnLine reported earlier this week was likely to happen, five-star offensive tackle Kenyon Green announced his top-5 on Friday evening that included Alabama. The other contenders included are LSU, Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas A&M.

The 6-foot-4, 317 pounder from Houston (Texas) Atascocita is rated the nation's No. 4 offensive tackle and No. 15 overall player, per the 247Sports Composite. The elite lineman last visited Alabama for a camp last summer.

“It’s a beautiful campus,” Green told BamaOnLine last weekend about what stood out to him during his visit to campus. “The tradition of them bringing championships home, and they have good linemen every year.”

A one-time LSU commit, Green backed off that pledge last December to give other programs a closer look. It's Texas A&M that's currently trending on the 247Sports Crystal Ball as it stands. Making Green's top-5 ensures the Tide an official visit from Green.

Alabama has three offensive linemen already committed in its class in five-star tackle Pierce Quick and four-star tackles Amari Kight and Tanner Bowles. The Tide will likely take at least two more with the most talked about targets being five-star center Clay Webb and five-star tackle Darnell Wright.

That doesn't mean they aren't keeping up with Green, though. “I still keep in touch with Coach (Brent) Key and everything, building our relationship,” Green said. “We talk once or twice a week. They’re losing like six offensive linemen in 2019 and they’re going to have to make a big class. That's the main thing they’re telling me."

The Tide's need for offensive linemen became even greater this spring as Brandon Kennedy and Dallas Warmack transferred out of the program. Other offensive line targets beyond Webb, Wright, and Green include four-star tackle Javonne Shepherd and three-star guard Kamaar Bell, to name a couple.

After Bama landed Kight earlier this spring, 247Sports' National Director of Recruiting, Steve Wiltfong, said the Tide is potentially putting together a historic class. “Alabama is going to sign the No. 1 the offensive line class in the country this cycle," Wiltfong said. "“This is on track to be, on paper, the best offensive line class Nick Saban has recruited at Alabama.”
