Paul Tyson is coming regardless. Taulia may not be the sure thing

Well why hasn't he committed yet then?

I've heard Taulia comes to TitleTown very often. If he's wired like Tua, he'll be plenty confident and won't worry about competing for the starting job.

If Taulia grew like 2 more inches he probably would skyrocket in the rankings

You never know why kids dont commit earlier, some want to enjoy the process, some arent 100%, I mean I cant blame them

Read it earlier, was a great read.
Also, laughed about the Country music statement.

And the pay sucks!
I hope people can fathom and truly appreciate all the work TideSaint has been doing for so long.
I'll be so glad when he's back!

Most interesting thing, to me, was Hank said he thinks grad transfers count against the 25 yearly limit.
I think that would mean, for every scholarship grad transfer we take, we can back count one less guy next year. Does anybody know if that's actually true?

If they only stay a year though?

Someone posted he thinks Hank might be wrong about transfers having to be initial counters against a 25 class-size cap. Hank replied that he's not 100% certain and would check it out.
ETA: I googled and it appears Hank was right -- incoming transfers do have to be initial counters against a yearly 25 cap. Right now we have 85 on scholarship for next fall. If attrition frees up room to give scholarships to any new grad transfers, it appears they can be backcounted against our 3 unused 2018 spots.

National Signing Day by position: Top WR classes
Xavier Williams
7. ALABAMA
Signed: Jaylen Waddle (6.1), Xavier Williams (5.8), Slade Bolden (5.8)
The Tide missed on two of their major wide receiver targets on signing day, but signed their No. 1 choice in Waddle. The shifty playmaker out of Texas had been high on the school’s board for a while, so landing him on National Signing Day was huge, especially with a need for a player of his skillset. Williams is an excellent route-runner and Bolden, ranked as an athlete, is likely to end up at wide receiver but could also play all-purpose back.

Does anybody have the scoop on Patrick Lucas from Wetumpka? He's a 2019 DL. I'm no evaluator but his junior film looks pretty decent. Has a CB to us as well. Does he have an offer? Does he favor us?

THE STORYLINE
When the season started, LSU had more players on NFL rosters than any other team in the country. But is the perception by elite prospects and those that cover the recruiting industry that Baton Rouge is the best place to go to be developed for the pros?
After LSU, with 51 players on the NFL roster list, comes USC and Florida with 45 each and then Miami and Alabama had 44 each. Rounding out the list was Ohio State at 42, Florida State at 40, Georgia and Clemson at 38 and Michigan at 35.
The Crimson Tide have dominated college football in recent years and controlled the team recruiting rankings, so it would be no surprise to consider Alabama the place where elite-level talent goes to get developed for the NFL.
In the coming years, Tuscaloosa could easily emerge atop this list. It’s not the case yet, but should it be, since Alabama’s coaching and development is on par - or better - than any other program in the country?
LSU is battling for every recruit in the Southeast, and many of the best players in its own state in the 2018 class (just look at the recruitment of five-star CB Patrick Surtain), and the Tigers still have more players in the league than any other team. Is Alabama about to take that over, as well?
