The one situation that sticks out in my memory regarding brothers was K Allen and his brother was a G5 scholly type and Saban did not offer.

Idk if LSU is willing to offer Ish Sopsher's brother a scholly or just a pwo. I don't see any any reason not to match UF and LSU pwo offers for Sanders' and Sopshers brothers if necessary. At a glance, it appears they're scout team level players at a big time D1 program.

I tend to think UA's staff would talk to them and their parents to determine what the brothers' aspirations are and help them be realistic. Do they prefer to be a pwo and likely scout teamer over a FB scholly at an FCS school or maybe a Sun Belt school? If they'd prefer a scholly and real chance of playing, UA's staff can likely help them get serious looks from such programs.

I'm fine with whoever Coach Saban and his staff prefer. Don't forget, Ealy may be a high draftee in pro baseball. Bama may want to take 2 RBs if they can get 2 that they want.

Absolutely, and I wasn't dissing yours. I was just throwing mine out there too. But, I've only seen highlights film and I don't have enough expertise to judge which one is truly a better RB prospect. That said, I'd love to get Sanders and Ealy both and I'd be happy to get either one.

After the 2019 season, ALL of our 2018 roster RBs except Ford may be gone. So, it'd be nice to get 2 stud RBs in this class if we can. We might be OK with only one in the 2019 class, IF we can get 2-3 studs in the 2020 cycle, since top RBs can usually play well as freshmen.

It amazes me that none of the top 2019 RB prospects are chomping at the bit to get in our 2019 class. Najee, Robinson and Ford made smart decisions. It seems others are falling for negative recruiting tactics about our young 2018 RB roster, only looking at 2018 departures of D Harris and R Clark. Jacobs might be drafted well too, but he's gone for sure after the 2019 season. Najee probably will be and maybe Robinson too.

So the true playing time outlook for a 2019 class stud RB prospect is actually much like it was for Najee and Robinson when they came in. They'll get some carries as a freshman and LOTS more as a sophmore.

They may be chomping at the bit... just not the ones we want.

I read that UGA's music school was a big factor in Bill Norton choosing UGA.

Sounds like his blood traitor father also played a role. Probably a fellow Flowbee enthusiast like Lil' Fulmer over in Athens.

LINK ]Here’s the uncommitted 5-star prospect Alabama has best chance to sign

Nick Saban is hoping to land several 5-star prospects in the 2019 class.
quote:

Alabama finished seventh in the 2018 class recruiting rankings, but expect the Crimson Tide to be back on top in 2019. SEC Country’s Chris Kirschner will answer the Recruiting Question of the Day each weekday. You can ask him your questions on  Twitter or on  Facebook. Find our previous questions and answers  here.

Which 5-star prospect does Alabama have best chance to sign?

The 247Sports composite rankings list 34 members of the Class of 2019 as 5-star prospects. Fourteen of those 5-star prospects are committed to a school with one of them, tackle Pierce Quick, on board with Alabama.

The Crimson Tide are in the mix for several other 5-star prospects in the class, but I think they have the best chance to land the nation’s No. 1 center, Clay Webb.

Webb’s thoughts on Alabama have been consistent throughout his recruitment. He has the closest relationship with offensive line coach Brent Key. He calls him an uncle. Webb is also close friends with Quick and 4-star quarterback Paul Tyson. They went on a spring break trip together.

His decision will likely come down to Alabama, Auburn and Georgia. The Crimson Tide should be considered the clubhouse leader to land his signature.

Other 5-star candidates to keep an eye on include defensive tackles Ishmael Sopsher and Faatui Tuitele, Jack linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux, offensive tackle Darnell Wright, cornerback Andrew Booth, inside linebacker Nakobe Dean and safety Daxton Hill.

Let's sign all 9 of those guys, a 5-star RB and Nathan Pickering. Then he, Antonio Alfano and Amari Kight get bumped to 5-stars. That's 14, and half of our class. That sound good, Sean?

Looks like we should fill the slots we missed on last year. Also we won’t be coming in second or third place to our rivals for the top players at positions of need.

JuCo OTs not named James Carpenter at Bama =

They almost always end up not ready to play, defeating their purpose...

Maybe that offer will prompt Darnell Wright to jump aboard and grab the OT seat on the bus.
