So, now this thread is closed and in a short, the new 2020 Thread is started? Asking for a friend.

I applied for a job down at Tyndall on Friday. We'll see where that leads.

There's not much of Tyndall still there. Unless you are in construction, good luck Saint. I hope you get it, man.

Tennessee's Brian Niedermeyer 247Sports National Recruiter of the Year (247Sports)

Yeah, I grew up over in Pensacola, but I moved over to Crestview several years ago. It has changed significantly in that amount of time. I’d love to see the city council open up to some new businesses, but what are you going to do.

It's a fair question. We beat them in recruiting every year
the idea that we are not 'competing' with Clemson is moronic. Sure, the last game got out of hand, but it's not like we weren't moving the ball all over them. They just were more prepared and dialed in for that game, and have better coordinators due to other teams continually poaching our coaches. Who here thinks we lose that game with Pruitt as DC? And we beat their arse just as bad last year as they did us this year, and we split the other 2 games with last second scores.

I’m curious what the 5 star composite list looked like a year ago today. Compared to what it is now, I am curious to see if it is vastly different or just slightly different. Like if there are 32-35 5 stars on composite, how many that start as 5 stars ended up staying 5 stars.

I've already created it, but it's not stickied yet.

The 2019 Signing Class link on the 2nd line of the new thread's 1st post opens the 1st post in the 2019 thread -- easy to access for reference.

MOD REQUEST: Please sticky the new
Class of 2020 FB Recruiting MEGATHREAD and
unsticky the 2019 Recruiting MEGATHREAD.
TIA

Thanks Saint for winning the recruiting thread of the year.
Don't think anyone has this many posts just on a single team's recruiting in a single year.
Lot of time and effort went into this. Thanks a billion.

On the eve of the 2019 NSD...I will admit that this year I was much less involved, not on purpose, but nevertheless took a spectator position and didn't get as involved recruiting wise. I missed it so in 2020 I planned to be much more heavily involved.

Reflecting on 2019...I like the make up of this year's class, the OL and DL depth and Secondary all got a big shot in the arm, it is good to see 2 quality QBs and 2 quality RBs, the biggest area we still have of need is TE...would've liked to sign 1 more.

I'm actually fairly OK with the LB depth and the guys we have on roster

I think Saban & co did a phenomenal job especially considering all the turn over and
A new staff in place with about 3 months xxxxxx out

Here's a toast to 2019

A great class! 6th highest class score and 3rd highest average player grade, all time. Met needs very well and nearly finished in Dec.

A fair question? It's an inbred question to say the least.

Bama skull drug Clemson January 2018 and moved the ball for almost 500 yards this past game plus played without 5 key contributors, had its most inexperienced team yet under Saban, had its least amount of depth and had an entirely new coaching staff!!

Clemson had its most experienced team in its history among other things, everything just fell right for them. Take away the bs Savion sellouts plays and it's a different game.

Even with all that Bama was

Not trying to ask too much into your job description, but what do you do for the Air Force?
