Great recruiting year! We're back on top, where we belong. I am excited for the "A day" game and the season ahead! 2020 recruiting should be awesome. Roll Tide, Saint, Surge, Cobra and welcome back BuccWild.

My friend has an ancillary role in the team operations and he just found out there still is a recruit x in play!! He said we should know something by Thursday. When I asked him what position, where he is from, etc...., he said he can't disclose. He did say the kid is an ABSOLUTE BURNER!!!!!

Our DL class is just so filthy. I think Dale is going to be a badass DT just like Sopsher. Those 2 are very close in size.
Obviously Alfaro is Bosa type.
Young reminds me of Benito Jones for Ole Miss that we recruited hard.
Eboigbe reminds me of Charles Harris from Missouri.
Ingraham seems like a lighter and taller Jonathan Allen but not sure on him.

NSD 2019 Wrap-Up: SEC superlatives (rivals.comical)
Article has a segment on Bama having the best DB class, but doesn't mention Hellams.
ETA: Commitment analysis: Rivals100 DB Nick Cross flips to Maryland (rivals)
I wonder why Bama didn't push for Nick Cross after Dax Hill committed to UM.

National Signing Day is in the rear-view mirror, but it’s worthwhile to take one more look at which prospects could be special in the coming years. We move to the SEC. . . (article)

National Signing Day by position: Top RB classes (rivals.comical)
quote:
National Signing Day has come and gone. Recruiting classes are mostly finished and the results are ready to be dissected. Today, Rivals.com's position-by-position look at the 2019 cycle moves forward with the country’s top running back classes.
1. ALABAMA
Trey Sanders
Alabama is one of a few teams to sign two running backs rated four-stars or higher, but the fact that one of the Tide’s gets is the No. 1 back in America puts Nick Saban’s program in the top spot. Five-star Trey Sanders sits atop the rankings for a reason, after all, as the Florida-based prospect is a truly rare blend of size and speed.
And while Alabama may not need him to carry the ball much next year, he’s prepared to shine in the SEC from day one if need be. Saban also managed to land four-star Keilan Robinson, giving Alabama an incredible second back in this class, as the Washington, DC-based star could have been the top-ranked running back in most classes. . . BOL Insider: Alabama after grad transfer TE? (BamaOnLine-VIP)
3* TE Nakia Griffin-Stewart 6-5/255 NJ (Grad)
Bama is evaluating Griffin-Stewart as a potential grad transfer addition and working on setting up a visit to campus. He enrolled at Rutgers in 2015 during Kyle Flood's tenure as HC and is on track to graduate in May, with one year of eligibility.

National Signing Day by position: Top OL classes (Rivals)
quote:
1. ALABAMA
Pierce Quick
Signed: Pierce Quick, Evan Neal, Darrian Dalcourt, Amari Kight, Tanner Bowles
Alabama may have fallen just short of winning the recruiting title for 2019, but it certainly pieced together the most impressive offensive line haul. Nick Saban and company won the Neal sweepstakes. That’s a top-10 prospect in the class and the No. 1 offensive tackle.
The Tide further replenished their pass pro with a pair of Rivals250 prospects from in-state -- Quick and Kight. Both were ranked inside the top-10 in Alabama. They also found an intriguing developmental tackle in Bowles and landed the No. 3 center Dalcourt.
It’s the Tide’s best offensive line group since 2017 when it added five-stars Alex Leatherwood and Jedrick Wills, who started up front through the team’s run to the national championship game.

National Signing Day by position: Top DL classes (Rivals)

1. ALABAMA
Antonio Alfano
The Crimson Tide finished with the second-best recruiting class nationally and they loaded up with outstanding defensive line signees led by five-star Antonio Alfano, who dominated all week at the All-American Bowl. Alfano is already in Tuscaloosa and is quickly putting on weight. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him on the field early.
Other than the five-star recruit, Alabama also landed four-star defensive tackle Ishmael Sopsher, who picked the Crimson Tide over in-state power LSU. Four-star Byron Young could emerge as a superstar in this class and then Alabama also signed four-stars Justin Eboigbe, Braylen Ingraham and Kevin Harris. Massive three-star defensive tackle DJ Dale rounds out the excellent crop.

National Signing Day by position: Top LB classes (Rivals | segments)
Rivals apparently doesn't get that Kevin Harris (WDE on Rivals) is an OLB in a 3-4 defense.

National Signing Day has come and gone and most FBS recruiting classes are completely finished. Today, we continue our position-by-position look at the 2019 cycle with the top linebacker classes.
3. ALABAMA
Shane Lee
Nick Saban will have to replace a pair of starter at linebacker in 2019, including middle linebacker Mack Wilson who declared for the NFL Draft last month. At Alabama, though, the cupboard gets re-stocked at every position seemingly every year with top talents, and 2019 is no different. Baltimore native Shane Lee, a top-50 ranked overall prospect in the 2019 class, is the headliner, and one of three four-stars. He is joined by outside linebacker King Mwikuta, the No. 227 ranked prospect in the Rivals250, and inside linebacker Christian Harris, the No. 235 ranked player in the Rivals250

Rivals' ranking of Jeffery Carter is ridiculous and they didn't even include DeMarcco Hellams.

The 2019 recruiting class featured a number of impressive defensive backs, and a few schools were able to put together some outstanding groups. Take a look at the five best defensive back classes of the 2019 recruiting cycle.
3. ALABAMA
Signed: Jordan Battle (Rivals Rating: 6.0), Marcus Banks (Rivals Rating: 6.0), Brandon Turnage (Rivals Rating: 5.8), and Jeffery Carter (Rivals Rating: 5.8)
Nick Saban is retooling his defense, and this group of defensive backs will go a long way toward that quick turnaround. Jordan Battle very nearly earned his fifth star at the Under Armour All-America Game because of his technique, athleticism, ability to create turnovers and imposing presence. Marcus Banks was also a five-star candidate because of his impressive combination of size, quickness, and technique. He has as high a ceiling as anyone in this class. Brandon Turnage and Jeffery Carter are talented and big defensive backs who will help replenish the Alabama secondary.
Rivals' ranking of Jeffery Carter is ridiculous and they didn't even include DeMarcco Hellams.
