Here is the Australian punter that Miami signed.

I wonder if he'll bring his grandkids with him

Favorite response I saw to his signing, “He will wear the turnover chain whenever he wants.”

Cobra, we’re usually on the same page but not this time. Don’t waste a ‘ship on a 1 year grad transfer punter when we’ve got the Acton kid ready to walk on as a freshman and it sounds like their numbers are similar. Plus we’ve already got Reichard on board and I believe he can punt as well as kick.

Australia was started in part as a British Penal Colony so it checks out.

If we have a free scholarship it might be worth wasting it on Pickens just Incase he does qualify

Am I the only person that would be fine with giving a scholarship to the transfer punter from South Alabama?

Meh, Bernier wasn't good and he averaged 38. Waitman averaged 41.7. I know he averaged better the year before. It isn't like we are getting the best punter in the nation. I would say instead of using a scholly on him, let Nash and Reichard duke it out.

Dang Phil4Bama beat me to it.

I don't think Pickens is considering us anymore.

I'm a little frustrated with special teams, so I might not be very level headed about this My judgement is not good with out special teams situation

From everything I’ve heard, Pickens isn’t qualifying barring a small miracle. Then again, he’s signing with Auburn so expect a star in the east any moment

Why not take both? I'm all for the Acton kid coming in, but having a guy who has actually performed at the college level is valuable.

Unless it has been us cold on him, I haven't seen anything connecting him to us recently. I've seen LSU and Tennessee as flip destinations. Maybe I'm misreading it, but him coming here doesn't seem viable.

Of course I could be completely wrong, others would know better.

I would so love to land Ealey but I know that is such a million to one shot. He’s either going to Clemson where he can play pro baseball and amateur football or he’s going to Mi$$i$$ippi for obvious reasons.
