And all Bama from the beginning. Not far from me but wasn't able to cross paths and see him live. Dale looks like a good one. A lot of good ones lol.

Nolacapstone went fricking biblical on BOL last night.
He called out the brother of Louisiana's governor over on BOL for trying to sway Sopsher to LSU.
It's hilarious.

LINK ]Alabama's 2019 class could have historic finish (BamaOnLine)
quote:
Barring any significant turn of events, Alabama will finish No. 1 atop the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings for the eighth time in the last nine years come National Signing Day as it currently sits with 317.35 points on the 247Sports Class Calculator.
Arguably even more impressive of a statistic is that the Tide’s current grade per its 28 commitments/signees is a whopping 94.31. The only teams to have finished ahead of that mark in the recruiting rankings era are Ohio State in 2017 at 94.59 with 21 commitments and USC in 2013 at 96.37 with just 12 commitments. Other classes in this grade per commit range include Florida’s 2010 class at 93.99 per commit and USC’s 2005 class at 94.26 per commit.
Of course, four of the spots aiding in the Tide’s current standing are occupied by Alabama commitments that did not sign early — Byron Young, Khris Bogle (didn’t commit until Jan. 5), Christian Williams and Keilan Robinson — all four of which are on official visits elsewhere this weekend. However, of that group, we’ve only projected Williams not being a part of the class at this time.
With 24 signees on board (good for 311.68 points and still the No. 1 ranking) that leaves roughly five available signee spots come Wednesday when the Tide’s 2019 class wraps up. If all goes according to plan three of those spots will be occupied by Young, Bogle and Robinson, leaving approximately two spots up for grabs as it stands.

So just how high can the Tide’s class finish on Wednesday? And where would that put the Tide among greatest classes of all time?
(1) Florida’s 2010 class: 324.62
(2) Alabama’s 2017 class: 323.87
(3) Georgia’s 2018 class: 323.31
(4) Alabama’s 2014 class: 319.71
(5) Alabama’s 2013 class: 319.50
(6) Ohio State’s 2018 class: 317.06
The main targets in play include:
5-star RB Jerrion Ealy
4-star LB Henry To'oto'o
4-star DT Ishmael Sopsher
4-star DE Quashon Fuller
4-star DT Jaquaze Sorrells
4-star OT Javonne Shepherd
3-star TE Brett Seither
As you can see if National Signing Day were today and nothing changed, Alabama’s class would rank No. 6 all-time. However, the Tide will add more star power to its commit list, which in turn will vault it higher the list.
There are a number of scenarios that can play out between now and next Wednesday. We will look at a few that are viable, operating under the assumption Alabama finishes with 29 recruits.

SCENARIO 1
— Christian Williams goes to LSU as we predict
— Byron Young, Khris Bogle and Keilan Robinson sign with Alabama
— Henry To’oto’o and Ishmael Sopsher commit to and sign with Alabama
Class grade: 321.56 — No. 4 all-time
SCENARIO 2
— Christian Williams goes to LSU as we predict; Khris Bogle flips to either Florida or Miami, a possibility as both programs are making a push
— Byron Young and Keilan Robinson sign with Alabama
— Henry To’oto’o, Ishmael Sopsher, Brett Seither commit to and sign with Alabama
Class grade: 320.33 — No. 4 all-time

— Byron Young signs with Alabama
— Henry To’oto’o, Ishmael Sopsher, Jerrion Ealy, Brett Seither commit to and sign with Alabama
Class grade: 323.10 — No. 4 all-time
SCENARIO 4
— Christian Williams goes to LSU as we predict; Keilan Robinson flips to Southern Cal

Now, keep in mind, these are all just scenarios that give Alabama the highest possible outcomes. Of course, the Tide still remains after other defensive linemen not named Ishmael Sopsher like Quashon Fuller and Jaquaze Sorrells. There’s also the possibility that Alabama flips 4-star offensive tackle and Texas commit Javonne Shepherd. So there are several different outcomes we could continue making scenarios for. You yourself can also use the 247Sports Class Calculator to plug in different recruits and see what score you get.
Regardless of what happens on National Signing Day, Alabama has already signed one of its stronger classes on paper under Nick Saban. Come Wednesday, it’s going to add to it.

Favorite- Alfano! He has been rock solid since the day he committed.
Underrated- Christian Harris because he played all over the field in HS at 6'2" 235.
Miss- Daxton Hill hurt because of the game that he and his family played, but Jordan Battle was a pretty good consolation prize.

Let 'em talk shite. They haven't DONE shite since the early 90's and we whipped that arse for them then. Miami is just the ACC's version of UGA; talks more shite with less substance than anyone in the league and always off-season champions!

I feel like I see serious concern re: Washington and To'oto'o some places and others acting as if he's basically a lock.
What's the deal there?
