Hopefully we get Ealy if he leaves. At least its a team on the west coast that we havent heard of. Could just be site seeing.

Hopefully just enjoying the trip or maybe the staff knows something and are trying to get in on Ealy? He has seemed pretty solid though

Haven’t felt good about Ish since the beginning

Anyone who didnt sign in the first period does not seem solid.

Brian Dohn, the 247 analyst for that area is well connected. He said tonight that his sources at Robinson's HS still expect him to sign with the Tide. It appears he's just taking a nice free trip.

Sounds good
Have to agree with Tide, I can’t stand the “committed” but didn’t sign and taking visits . I understand it’s the way the game is played with some recruits but I don’t have to like it.

The 247-MSU main guy had been saying he expected Pickering to cancel his Bama OV.

One of Alabama’s top remaining defensive targets won’t be signing with the Crimson Tide next week.
Four-star defensive tackle Nathan Pickering, a top-75 player nationally who has been committed to Mississippi State since June, has canceled his official visit to Alabama that was set for this weekend and will be sticking with his commitment to the Bulldogs.

No more official visits. No more home visits except MSU. Thank you ! #HailStateForever
9:40 PM - Jan 31, 2019
Alabama recently hired Brian Baker, one of Pickering’s top recruiters for Mississippi State, as its defensive line coach. Still, the expectation was that the Seminary, MS product would likely sign with Mississippi State even after Baker’s departure, especially after he tweeted on Monday, “The decision that was made doesn’t affect me or my decision. I’m still here 100%. #HailStateForever.”
Several other highly-ranked players are still set to be in Tuscaloosa for official visits this weekend — five-star running back Jerrion Ealy, four-star inside linebacker Daniel Heimuli, four-star defensive tackle Jaquaze Sorrells and four-star defensive end Quashon Fuller.

Bone:
Bama leads for Ish, but gotta survive loserana St8 visit this weekend.
Leaning UGA for TE Seither
Young sticks.
Robinson sticks.
Toto to Bama
The OT from Texas will likely stay in Texas.
Leaning Bama for Bogle, but its gonna be close

From VolNation:
quote:
Henry To’oto’o — The Vols sent multiple staffers to California Thursday, including Pruitt, to see To’oto’o. The intel hasn’t really changed here, via our sources. If NSD was two weeks ago, Tennessee probably would’ve landed the 4-star LB, but following To’oto’o’s official visit to Alabama and continued conversations with Washington, the Vols appear to be trending the other direction. Nick Saban was also out in California Thursday to see To’oto’o. It appears the Tide and Huskies are locked in a battle where To’oto’o chooses one of the two schools, and fellow California 4-star inside LB Daniel Heimuli goes to the other.

Tough when you have to sweat out “commits”

Good. Don't want him wasting our coaches' time.
I'm not mad about it. I wish more kids would do this down the stretch. I'm all for taking a free trip somewhere, but if you know where you want to go just shut things down and sign.
Best of luck to him in Starkvegas.

Either way we get a good player. I can dig it.

Final Predictions for CFB's Biggest Winners and Losers of 2019 Signing Window
quote:
Recruiting is full of twists, turns, spins and flips, but the most dynamic part of college football is almost over in 2019. National signing day is nearly here.
And you want to know what will happen.
Because December's early signing period finalizes the majority of decisions from top prospects, there's a limited group of upper-tier players still on the board. Regarding those, a smaller number of schools are involved in the recruitment of multiple 4- and 5-star players.
Consequently, this outlook ended up being exclusively focused on the SEC. That's simply where the action will be Wednesday, Feb. 6.
