After the Early Signing Period concluded, Seither saw offers come in from Miami, Georgia, Alabama and Penn State among others, turning what was a TCU-Michigan State battle into one between the two SEC powers in the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs with the Nittany Lions still hanging in there.
Georgia has sent coaches each week to Seither’s home since the dead period ended earlier this month and got him to Athens for an official on Jan. 18.
Alabama has been a regular visitor inside the home as well including Nick Saban coming out last week prior to his official to Tuscaloosa on Jan. 25.
Ranked by the industry-generated 247Sports Composite as the nation’s No. 45 tight end, Seither caught 42 passes for 630 yards and six touchdowns as a senior.
