We are going to be starting from scratch offensively recruiting wise again, that is just something we have to accept unfortunately.

I would think that helps Jalen's decision a little easier on where to go.

I’m still shocked we lost all 3 of our OC candidates... Locksley, Gattis and Enos.. damn. Wonder if this was a fake field goal gone wrong? Looked like we wanted Enos and let Gattis leave

Isn't it an amazing fact that we cannot recruit or choose not to recruit Four big and very good WR's in our own backyard.
Nico Collins
Justyn Ross
Seth Williams
George Pickens
I am aware of most of the reasons for not doing so but still strange to say the least.

If Saban is turning the heat up on TE recruiting, are those "on-the-line" blocking first TE's. That choice means Saban was not happy about short yardage/redzone blocking. He wants the knock your dick in the dirt mindset back in the running game. That mindset has been absent for 2 years.
Look for the position coaches and OC to have a bit of that mindset in their background... Just my guess.

We have more talented wide receivers than all but Ross? Pickens is Juco bound.

I hate that fricking mindset. If we are regressing to that this is a real issue.

That mindset does not kill the RPO game but it does open up the play action game a bit more. The QB would have to improve on check-downs for the play action game to work well.

Which is why I am saying I hate that we are regressing instead of embracing the offense that works. We don't ever need a blocking tight end for this offense to be effective and wanting to regress to that is quite frankly stupid when we have so much talent on the edges.
Edit: whose feelings do I hurt when I criticize this stone age man ball mash the lines style?

Texas Spotlight: Toughest final 2019 ranking decisions (Rivals | segments)
quote:
The majority of the 2019 prospects at the FBS level have already signed their letters of intent, but football continued to be played after last month's postseason update of the Rivals250 and Rivals100. Next week, the final 2019 class rankings will be released, and several big questions in the state of Texas are set to be answered...
4. Which defensive back will rise the highest?
The All-American Bowl gave Texas prospects the perfect opportunity to show their skills, and several defensive backs took advantage, including Alabama commit Marcus Banks, Texas commit Tyler Owens and Georgia commit Lewis Cine. During both the week of practice and the game, the trio of Lone Star State prospects were all over the field in coverage and helping out against the run.
It wasn’t long ago that Banks was a three-star, but after his senior season and the impressive all-star game, he could land in the top 100. The same goes for Owens, who barely cracked the Rivals250 last go-round but was buzzed about all week in San Antonio. Cine was a priority for Georgia, which says a lot, given his distance from the SEC power, and he showed up in Orlando. All three players are on the rise, but it’s going to be a battle to see who comes out on top.

Well hell! I go to work thinking everything is ok and I get off and Enos is going to South Beach?? WTF? The offense was the juggernaut this year that carried the team and drugthe hapless defense along and we lose the top 4 offensive coaches. This ain’t good. Even Saban can’t withstand this constant revolving door on the coaches office. There will be a dropoff.

Banks is a monster, what a great pull and we got him to sign on ESD

Guess this means that K-Rob isn’t going to sign with Alabama now.
