Dude it is a great site and the infighting is beautiful. They also believe and confirm so much bad info. Stuff that a simple google search would refute. Half of them are blindsided by every miss.

Butch Davis's time at UNC ended in disaster (ncaa related), but him getting recruits out of Louisiana and Shockey out of Okie was legit and on the up and up.

Probably the least impact the Alabama guys have had in these all star games in a while but still a good day with those commits

Shut up you bytch a$$ pu$$y. These fvcking kids need to be outcasted from the community.

I agree...but what happens is that they come back to South Florida and everyone kisses their a$$es and welcomes them back with open arms...if people were to start telling these kids to go fvck themselves and stay their asses up in Bama, then things will change. As long as little kids in South Florida see their coaches riding the SEC's dicks, then nothing will change

LINK ]Alabama lands 4-star DB at All-American Bowl (BamaOnLine)

The nation’s No. 1-ranked recruiting class has gained another addition.
Four-star cornerback LINK ]Marcus Banks out of Houston (Texas) Dekaney announced his commitment to Alabama over Texas A&M, Florida and Florida State during the All-American Bowl.
“It would really just come down to the development that they have and winning championships,” Banks told BamaOnLine of why he’d seem himself choosing the Crimson Tide on Saturday.
A one-time LSU commit, Banks picked up an offer from Alabama last January when head coach Nick Saban and brand new assistant at the time Jeff Banks passed through Dekaney High School. Banks’ preexisting relationship with Jeff Banks dated back to the Tide special teams coordinator’s time at Texas A&M.
It was that relationship, plus the bond with defensive backs coach Karl Scott that kept UA in the mix among his top schools when he backed off his pledge to the Tigers earlier this fall.
“I love Coach (Karl) Scott,” Banks said. “He’s so real. I feel like I can relate to him also and he can relate to the players. Not every coach can really say that. I feel like he gets me and I get him. We understand each other.”
“Me and Coach Banks go way back. Right when he switched to Alabama he kept it real with me from the jump. He told me he was going to let Coach Saban know about me and stuff like that. He showed Coach Saban my film. Right when he showed Coach Saban and Coach Scott and the defensive staff my film they offered me that next week when Coach Saban came over to my school.”

Banks is the sixth defensive back to join Alabama’s 2019 class. He links up with four signees in cornerback Jeffery Carter and safeties Jordan Battle, Brandon Turnage and DeMarcco Hellams. The Tide also has a commitment from 4-star defensive back Christian Williams out of Daphne, Ala., but he opted not to sign in the Early Signing Period.
At 6-foot, 170 pounds, Banks is rated the No. 21 cornerback and the No. 189 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Here’s what 247Sports has to say about Banks’ on-the-field ability:
Long cornerback prospect with good height and wingspan. Possesses the frame to be on the bigger end of the corner spectrum, though narrow through the core and could be somewhat limited in bulking potential. Lean and athletic, but maybe a bit high-cut. Plays with impressive athleticism that has also been shown in a combine testing environment. Great top-end speed that helps in vertical coverage and makeup speed. Above average fluidity for a taller, longer cover man. Turns and locates the ball in the red zone. Instinctive corner with a feel for the position that bears out on tape. Must add bulk to improve overall strength and effectiveness when asked to press at the college level. At current size, could be overwhelmed by bigger, more physical receivers at the high-major level. Will need to clean up tackling technique and consistency. Potential to project to early rounds of NFL Draft.

Yep, we will have to sweat it til the end. You know Diaz is going to put the full court press on him to be the “savior” of the class/program spill

LINK ]Khris Bogle rolls with the Tide (BamaOnLine)

Alabama continues to dip into the South Florida well.
Top100 edge rusher LINK ]Khris Bogle, the No. 3 weak-side defensive end in the nation from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Cardinal Gibbons, announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide on Saturday during the All-American Bowl.
The final days leading up to a decision were nothing short of dramatic as Bogle appeared to be truly torn between Alabama and Miami, along with Florida and Tennessee in the mix as well. The Hurricanes were the longtime favorite, both with their proximity to Bogle’s home and his relationship with the staff. The Tide got the All-American on campus for an official visit back in November and got momentum going in its favor.
Miami was aided in its pursuit of Bogle when it hired (somewhat) former defensive coordinator Manny Diaz after he took the head coaching job at Temple just a day after Mark Richt stepped down in Coral Gables. Bogle even admitted that Miami would likely have faded for him had Diaz not come back.

With Alabama, South Florida ace recruiter Joe Pannunzio, defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi and defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski, not to mention Nick Saban, put in a lot of work for Bogle, which ultimately paid off. In a battle that was very much relationships-based, the Tide was able to connect with the 6-foot-3.5, 212-pounder and win out in the end.
“Playing against the best,” Bogle said of why he could see himself committing to Alabama when BamaOnLine caught up with him on Thursday night. “Great class coming in right now. We might win the natty for the next three to four years if I go there. Just compete. We’re just going to compete each and every day.”
With his commitment made, Bogle has a few more weeks to go before he can officially sign on Feb. 6. He mentioned earlier in the week that he may take his final official visit to Florida, but wasn’t entirely sure on whether or not he would end up doing that.
Bogle joins a No. 1-ranked signing class that includes some big-time players on the defensive side of the ball like 5-star defensive lineman Antonio Alfano, 4-star defensive back Jordan Battle and more.

The South Florida standout is rated the No. 57 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Here’s what 247Sports has to say about Bogle’s on-the-field ability:
Streamlined physique with exceptionally long arms that nearly hang to his knees. Slender build with room to pack on significant weight. Appears taller than he measures due to his length and build. Fluid speed rusher who uses his length and long stride to make plays in the backfield. Uses his range to track down plays in backside pursuit. Good athlete who should improve his explosion, strength and size with time in a college level strength and nutrition program. Will need time early in his career as he’s underdeveloped physically. Needs to continue getting stronger, which will aid in setting the edge and holding his ground at the point of attack. Projects as a late-career Power 5 starter who should see considerable improvement over the course of his college career with his best football being played as an upperclassman. Should hear his name called on the second day of the NFL Draft.

The kid really seems like he's the type that does not want to let anybody down! I think that's whats makes it a harder decision.
I think he wants Bama and has always wanted Bama since after his visited.
Telling Miami no is hard for a kid like that.
It's different for the kids like Stevenson who people wanted him away from the SFLA element as that may be what he needs.
This kid wants to be the best and the Bama ability to make him a bigger Tim Williams is something he cant just not take a shot at.
Miami has just to many questions un- answered right now.
Manny Diaz had that defense playing lights out and could/can maybe bring Miami back.
But the maybe is the problem that might not get him to flip him back.
The selection of BAMA eliminates the maybe as you know what we are producing.!

This #CFBPlayoff game Monday night will be a miserable matchup for the Clemson OL. They will run into same schematic issues as Oklahoma did. Slide protection & gap scheme runs will allow Q to be very disruptive. The lack of power at point of attack will favor Alabama heavily....
quote:
The tackles aren’t great in pass pro vs speed. The RG’s got pushed around last week. 33, 99 & 92 will be a problem. Clemson will have to rely on reads/RPO’s & moving the pocket with quick/max protection.

The Clemson OL struggled with movement & games last week. I’d expect more of that Monday night from the Alabama DL. This matchup will be a HUGE advantage for Alabama & will allow them to add an extra body to the back end.

Alabama added a major piece to its 2019 recruiting class on Saturday afternoon as 4-star edge rusher LINK ]Khris Bogle committed to the Crimson Tide over Miami, Tennessee and Florida.
All week at the All-American Bowl in San Antonio, the Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Cardinal Gibbons product had been going back and forth with his decision. He didn’t come to a conclusion until right before the game.
“When I came out of the tunnel, I just prayed and I asked God when I come out of the tunnel to let me follow my heart and follow my decision,” Bogle told 247Sports’ Tom Loy after making his commitment.

Bogle told BamaOnLine on Thursday night that he was going to have his mind made up on Saturday morning and let the coaches know. It took a little big longer than originally anticipated.
“Undecided all day,” he said. “I was on the phone this morning with a few coaches just going back and forth with them trying to make my final decision. Going over in my head what are the pros and the cons if I don’t go to all the other schools.”
The 4-star All-American did say he was going to let the coaches know today. He didn’t talk to Alabama on Saturday, but he did talk to Nick Saban on Friday night. “I actually called him last night and told him it might be a possibility that I go to Alabama, but I wasn’t sure yet,” Bogle said.
The South Florida standout says he thinks Saban is probably happy right now. He also added that his recruitment was over and he plans to sign with the Tide. It will remain to be seen whether he uses his fifth and final official visit, which would go to Florida if he does take it.
At 6-foot-3.5, 212 pounds, Bogle is rated the No. 3 weak-side defensive end and the No. 57 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings.
