Maybe. But if he offered Tosh, it’s clear that he’s doing whatever he can to weaken Saban’s machine.

I'd expect we sign Sanders. Him to UGa would be a bit of a head scratcher.

Another name I don't want to see in rumors of moves is Coach Kool. I think he's a major reason for Q's explosion this season and LaBryan Ray's as well. And I think there's more where those come from so I'd like to keep him around a couple of more years at least.

Always wanted Kirby to one day take over for Saban ( before his dream job opened obviously ) but I am starting to think he is a POS. His antics the last couple years seem immature and desperate

Yea, he's pretty much a scumbag

I love their boards. Everyone it seems has inside sources and they fighting over who is right and who it not.

My favorite though was if Dean goes to UGA it sinks our class. That there is no other ILB in the class on his level that can replace him and UA is in dire need for one. But if he comes UA their current commits will be just as good.

Also that Webb has been a silent commit for a long time now.

I've said it once and I'll say it again. Tootoo is the best ILB in the country, IMO. I hope we get both and let them battle it out over the next few years. But regardless of how the chips fall, I LOVVVVEEEE Tootoo's highlight video. He's a guided missile that has played against the very best competition, has won a lot, dominates, and has superb measurables. How he's not a national top 20 guy (I know he's pretty close) is beyond me.

OT: Bainbridge High School where Kirby is from just held on in OT to defeat Warner Robins 38-35 for the Georgia State 5A title.

This was the preview of the game:

Bainbridge vs. Warner Robins

When, where: 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta

Records, rankings: Bainbridge is 9-5, the No. 2 seed from Region 1-AAAAA and unranked; Warner Robins is 12-2, the No. 1 seed from 1-AAAAA and No. 3.

Last meeting: Warner Robins won 38-0 on Oct. 19.

Things to know: Warner Robins' trouncing of Bainbridge in the regular season was Bainbridge's first game after Hurricane Michael, which canceled several days of school and practice. The Bearcats have won six straight since then, including victories over four top-10 teams in the playoffs. Caleb McDowell, a sophomore, has averaged 101 yards rushing during the winning streak. Quayde Hawkins, also a sophomore, is averaging 171 yards passing after having only one 100-yard passing game over the first half of the season. DE Roman Harrison, the region's defensive player of the year and a Tennessee commit, and LB Randy Fillingame have 61 tackles for losses between them. Both teams are allowing 17.0 points per game, but Warner Robins' offense has been the more explosive, as it averages 36.9 points to Bainbridge's 23.3. Warner Robins QB Dylan Fromm, the region player of the year, has thrown for 4,107 yards, sixth-most in state history. WR Marcayll Jones has 1,866 yards receiving, a state record. Warner Robins' leading tackler is a sophomore, LB Demarcus Robinson. A state title for Warner Robins would be its first since 2004. Bainbridge last won a state title, or played for one, in 1982.

Maxwell Ratings' projection: Warner Robins by 19

ETA: I post this because a) my wife is from near Bainbridge and we've been following their progress through the playoffs and knew that Kirby is from Bainbridge and went to high school there. And b) because Bainbridge and the surrounding area was tore the frick up by Hurricane Michael. They could have cancelled their season like my daughter's pussy AD did with all fall sports costing her another chance to go to Florida 1A state in swimming. Instead, after losing to Warner Robins 9 days after the storm with little to no practice, they went on a tear and didn't lose again with the last game being tonight, avenging the Warner Robins loss.

Dan Enos was Kirbys first choice as OC when took the Georgia job but Bert had some clause that Enos could only be hired by another SEC school as a head coach. You know it's pissing Kirby off that the GOAT snatched him up last season.

If I remember correctly that clause was that Enos couldn't take another coordinator position at another SEC school immediately after leaving Arkansas. So, Enos took the OC job at Michigan and Saban hired him after he'd been at Michigan for a few weeks.

I really don't think it would be that much of a head scratcher. No guarantee Zeus White is half the back he was pre injuries. He would easily get more reps than Cook & with the other two starters it would be no different than when we deploy Najee, Damien & Jacobs. I think it is going to go down to the wire with Sanders.

Regarding Tosh you got to figure if Clay Helton doesn't improve next season he'll be out and Tosh should be a candidate for USC. Going to UGA would be a short-sighted move.

Career college DL coach. Loves doing that. No better place to be than right where he is. He passed on an NFL offer to come to Bama. I doubt he's interested in going anywhere else, for at least as long as Saban is HC.

Tosh just got his first coordinator job. He's not ready to run a blue blood program like USC.

Holy horse feces!!!What a day here on the board. Sean getting a spanking and Gene gettin horse whipped. Geno boy not too smart calling out the big boys on here. Sean, you should just sit in the corner like I do and nibble on your post toasties. Chip in every now and then. Mack Wilsons family indicated to a close friend of mine that he wants to enter the daft. My friend is a well connected free lance sports writer. I appreciate Surge, Saint, and all you guys that bring the info here for all us dumb asses. Btw Saint, did you ever try the onion rings at Jims Restaurant in Pville?

Yeah. You're wrong about that. Kirby would be bringing in a top 5 recruiter in the country. Hell, maybe the best.
It's a no brainer for him to call Tosh. You give him the DC title and give him plenty of support for game planning. Just like we did.

I think you missed my point. DC at Bama learning from the GOAT is a better gig than DC at UGA. Tosh wouldn't be interested. Therefore Kirby looks silly for offerring him the job because he'd just turn it down.
