I fabricated it from the thread title change since no one knew why he is on commitment watch. It was either that or "Family seen touring one of the two zoned apartment complexes in Trussville." I'll change in a little while. I think TS might be having a little fun.

UGA are who the Miami folks are most worried about when it comes to Stevenson. UGA and Miami are having events the weekend of the 27th. It will be interesting to see how he plays it. I am assuming he is not coming here since he was at the 1st cookout.

Well crap, I was hoping it was a Leal flip. And I'm lactose intolerant.

I find it funny that Saint made the title change and then disappeared into the Baekdudaegan mountains.....or likely went to sleep.

I emailed an updated Top Targets list to him for the 2nd post itt, but he put it in the 1st post. I emailed him the 1st post content so he can fix it. But he's probably asleep. It's 1:34 am there.

According to one of the guys I listen to, Bama thinks Akeem Dent may be a Bama/UGa battle (very good chance he flips from FSU one way or another), with Stevenson a UGa/Miami/Bama battle (tough pull, but we're squarely in it). Hoping to sign one of the two.
Confidence high on Dent, with chances of a quick flip if he shows up at the Cookout.
Putting two and two together, I'm going to guess both are ahead of Jeffery Carter in the pecking order since Carter was asked to hold off.

Is Dean scheduled to commit in the near future or are we being messed with?
Posted on 7/20/18 at 4:30 pm to Bama3714
If we could close out this DB class with Hill and Dent. Wow.
Posted on 7/20/18 at 4:32 pm to narddogg81
The guys that post the timelines would know that more than me. Bama is extremely confident on Dean right now, though.

I think that is the most likely scenario right now. But even the backup possibilities are tremendous.
Let's say we take 2 more DBs, and let Turnage go. Assuming Hill is one (here's hoping!)… the hope is for either Dent (most likely) or Stevenson, with fall-back options being Jeffery Carter (A&M pushing now and maybe OU as well, but still has wanted Bama), Pola-Gates (very good prospect), and maybe keeping Turnage (very versatile prospect).
We really can't lose for winning with our DB class again this year. Every scenario is good.

High praise from CNS on Jalyn Armour-Davis. Going to be such a stud 2018 DB class!
Head coach Nick Saban was asked about a player he will be working closely with this fall -- 4-star cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis.
“He has made very nice progress,” Saban said of Armour-Davis. “He’s a fine young man. He’s got really good ability. He’s a hard worker. He’s bright. He’s been able to learn and make improvement over the summer, and hopefully, he’ll continue that development and be able to contribute to the team this fall.
“I think it’s going to be critical for us on defense that we have some young players -- over the entire defense, but most certainly in the secondary -- that are going to have to develop and mature into players that can play winning football at those positions for us. And Jalyn Armour-Davis is certainly one of those people that will have a chance to do that.”
Listed at 6-foot-1, 181 pounds, Armour-Davis was the No. 2 player in the state of Alabama in the 2018 recruiting cycle, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite. The nation’s 13th-best cornerback will wear No. 22 and will compete for playing time in a UA secondary tasked with replacing all six starters in its dime package this offseason.
