I guess BJ Emmons didn't sign with anyone last month. His 247 profile doesn't list any visits for him since October.

Tank Jenkins is going to end up at Oklahoma. Very odd. Thought he was overrated.

We played a bunch of receivers, including 3 true freshmen. Maybe they wanted to redshirt him instead of wasting the year

Always wonder why people say we need a big WR. We never throw fades or anything like that. We had Julio and never threw a fade to him. Threw one to M. Maze before him smh.

With Tua those throws are possible now. They can be almost impossible to defend

I like V. Jackson. I think he sticks. Everyone seems to think Quay is leaving

We had Julio...it gets no more unstoppable than that.

I think it's good to have a tall receiver. We have a slot now in Bolden. We have some blazers, a tall guy could come in handy

The fade pass is incredibly easy to defend no matter who is throwing it or who it is being thrown to. It requires perfect touch from the QB, as well as perfect timing on both ends, and even then you essentially have 3 defenders between the actual DB and both boundary lines. It's a terrible, low percentage play.

It has been a terrible play call - a wasted down that would send my blood pressure skyrocketing - when Bama has run it traditionally. Outside of the completed fade to beat Arkansas at the end of the 2007 game, we might have completed two in Alabama football history. But other teams have been pretty potent running the play with good QBs and tall, athletic receivers and tight ends. Maybe it will become a play that we can FINALLY call and have a chance to complete.

I’d rather perfect the slant/arrow rub route than the jump ball. It’s such a low percentage play.

I tend to agree.

I still don't like the play. Just saying that if we did happen to call the play with Tua and a tall, athletic WR with good ball skills, we would at least have a CHANCE at completing it instead of the ridiculous <5% play call/chance of completion it has been in the past.

I just never understood why we threw it to guys like Maze and not Julio lol. I think we will always be a team that would and should punch it in on the ground if close enough.
