I really think some sort of H back. Could be very effective in option play, and could actually be a threat to throw off it.

This is as good as it gets brother. Please take a moment to enjoy this one and save that joy to buttress future disappointments.

Any CFB fan that has a single game like last night for his team in his entire lifetime is lucky.

On one of the OSU sites I saw they were all claiming Saban as the GOAT and the big think they were upset about was Meyer not making changes like Saban did.

Yes Copeland tweeted out Saban called him after the game. I am sure he is not the only one.

I think we could convert Hurts easily for our system and he would be a deadly weapon. Sort of like OSU tried with B Miller.

Jalen isn't that type of athlete IMO. He is shifty not fast.

B Miller was not that fast either IIRC correctly but he was also injured a lot it seemed in the end at OSU.

You could use Jalen as a HB and create some plays for him at QB.

But I afraid he transfers and could see Jimbo taking him at aTm.

Jalrn is athletic as a QB. Blake sims was more athletic. I could see a special package maybe but that's not really our style. As far ad moving him to wr or rb he would never ever see the field as a every down skill player. Those guys athletic ability is on another level.

I think he is every bit as skilled as our RBs

Maybe as fast but not as skilled.

He doesn’t need to be fast to be a good receiver. Rice, Carter, and Boldin had great careers and neither ran faster than 4.6, if I’m not mistaken. I think he’ll be a good possession or a moderate speed receiver, if he crafts his route running and learns how to use his big body against smaller dbs. Additionally, most of our receivers are “rail thin”, a physically developed WR would help in underneath routes and blocking.

Jalen is fast but it takes more. You can't take someone because they are athletic and say go play this position and think they are going to be productive at something they haven't done before. I'm sure Jalrn can throw the hell out of a football but that doesn't mean he is a good QB. It takes more.

I completely agree, but we will never know until he makes such a move. He is an athlete and the NFL values an athlete to a certain degree. For example, T. Pryor and B. Miller are collecting NFL checks due to their athletic promise and potential. I just wish the best for Jalen on and off the field.
