My nieces fiance road the bench for coach Trickett. He has nothing but horror stories about the arse hole. Absolutely hates the man. He also said he saw Coach Saban make a couple of high school coaches cry at a camp once

With Pruitt there would that be a big surprise?

You mean "Prick Trickett"?

Just read on the rant that JJ Peterson and Quay Walker hate each other. Does anyone know if that's true?

Between the two, Peterson is the bigger need, right? He looks like a 3-4 ILB. I can't imagine Walker in there at 6'4.

Recruiting question of the day: Who does Alabama end up signing come February?
quote:
This is obviously a popular question during these times because the early signing period passed last week and the majority of the top players in the country have already signed with their program of choice.
I broke down Alabama’s remaining targets here, in case you missed it. For the questions above from @Chird11 and @bigpete4bama, I will be working off the list linked at the beginning of this paragraph.
As of today, I see Alabama adding the following:
1 quarterback
1 or 2 wide receivers
1 offensive lineman
1 or 2 defensive linemen
1 or 2 defensive backs
With that being said, I think Alabama will add 4-star quarterback James Foster, 4-star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, 4-star wide receiver Justyn Ross, 5-star offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere, 3-star defensive lineman Malik Langham and 5-star cornerback Tyson Campbell. I also see either 4-star linebacker Quay Walker or 3-star linebacker Vernon Jackson flipping from Alabama to a different school.
The only name I feel very confident in at this time is Langham. With him being from the state of Alabama, I think the Tide’s push is going to be much greater than any other school.
Foster grew up an Alabama fan and is down to the Tide, Florida State, LSU and Texas A&M. The same thought process with Langham applies here. He has a chance to play for his dream school, and I think that’s why he ends up choosing the Tide.
Waddle was leaning toward the Tide for several months. There was a long period of time where he had given a strong indication to the staff that he was going to choose Alabama. I think that’s over with now and we’re back to square one. He’ll likely choose the Tide or Aggies. Texas A&M has made a strong push since Jimbo Fisher was hired.
Ross is down to Alabama, Auburn and Clemson. I have heard that the Tide feel confident with where they stand with Ross, but Clemson is definitely the biggest threat here.
Petit-Frere is a big mystery because he doesn’t talk to the media much and when he does his answers are very calculated. The Florida native will likely choose Alabama, Notre Dame or Ohio State. Petit-Frere has been the Tide’s top offensive tackle target for months.
Campbell has been Alabama’s top cornerback target pretty much since the start of the year. He’s expected to take an official visit to Tuscaloosa next month. Alabama is fighting it out with Georgia and Miami.
The only name above that I feel very confident in Alabama landing is Langham. The Tide will have to fight for the others, but Alabama has shown that it can compete with any school when it comes to getting who it wants.

I'd take either. Yea but you seem spot on. I'd think Quay would play Sam.

Rashan Evans and Dylan Moses are both 6'3. I think the staff probably likes Peterson (6'2) and Jackson (6'3) as ILBs and Walker (6'4) at SAM.

Gotcha. I didn't realize either of those guys were that tall. Just goes to show how massive our defensive guys are, because those guys look small relative to who they are around. Walker very well could be 6'3 or shorter, then. You know sometimes these HS measurements are out of whack.

Yep. Rolo and Hightower are both 6'4. Dont'a played inside and outside. Evans does too. Saban seems to like guys with that versatility.

Rolo and Hightower were before everyone started running the spread. They would be on the line for us now IMO.

I doubt Bama will take two more receivers.

I agree, unless we miss on our takes for other positions. On the Commits and Top Targets list posted above, I number-slotted them into our 8 unsigned spots to reflect need-based priorities. It's just my take.

Hightower, yes. But McClain had tremendous speed from sideline to sideline. He is the perfect LB, along with Foster, for playing against power and spread.

Maybe. I don't think height is an issue for D-front personnel vs up-tempo spread. But we've gone to lighter weights for the sake of speed and ability to sustain vs HUNH.

I've seen rumblings of it on BOL, but Americus said he hasn't heard anything about it and he lives in that area.
