Amari Cooper, playing with a sore ankle, just made a double move that was so bad arse the DB probably has two sore ankles. In two seconds Cooper had him beat by five yards. Touchdown.
Watch Amari Cooper's comeback start with 63-yard touchdown reception

I like off topic discussions, but goodness, not that topic. The whole board gets assed up with that crap. Anything but that
It’s going to keep going until Saban pulls his arse out of his hat and plays Mac Jones. At least have a package with some tennis concepts.

James Foster wins the QB competition.
Team Tua, Team Hurts, and Team PleaseGodRecruitAnyoneButFoster all spontaneously combust in meltitude.

Alabama’s early enrollees with best chance at making immediate impact
quote:
Watch for these players to make an immediate impact next season
Alabama signed 15 players (including Class of 2017 grayshirt Jack linebacker Jarez Parks) during the early signing period last week. Only six of those players are expected to be on campus when spring practice begins.
Here’s who I think has the best chance to make an immediate impact for the Tide:

quote:
Saivion Smith, 4-star cornerback, Miss. Gulf Coast Community College
Saivion Smith will likely start somewhere in Alabama’s secondary next season. The Crimson Tide needed to recruit a defensive back who could be plugged into a starting spot next season, and Smith is that guy.
The Tide will lose starting cornerbacks Anthony Averett and Levi Wallace, nickel cornerback Tony Brown and safety Hootie Jones, and will likely lose both Minkah Fitzpatrick and Ronnie Harrison early to the NFL draft as both are projected to be top picks. That means there’s going to be a lot of turnover in the secondary next season, and Smith is someone who could make the transition smoother.
Smith transferred from LSU to MS Gulf Coast CC last summer, then posted 31 tackles and 2 interceptions, including a pick six, this season.
In high school, Smith was a 5-star prospect and was at one time ranked as the nation’s No. 1 cornerback. Smith is already in Tuscaloosa practicing with the team. Nick Saban complimented Smith at the coach’s news conference last week.
“I think anytime you get a guy that’s played in major college football games before, probably knows a little more about what it takes, probably has a little more maturity — I think that’s always probably a positive for a guy, in terms of his readiness to come in and play,” the coach said.
“We’re excited he’s here and excited to have the opportunity to work with him even in this time, which is a little more difficult now that we’re working on an opponent. But he’s still out there getting reps, and we’re still trying to coach him and teach him what he needs to know to make a contribution."

quote:
Stephon Wynn, 4-star defensive lineman, IMG Academy
Stephon Wynn is listed as a defensive end on scouting websites, but he’ll likely play defensive tackle by the time next season rolls around. He’s already pushing 300 pounds and can easily add more weight to his frame.
The Tide will lose Da’Shawn Hand, Jamar King and Josh Frazier after this season, plus Da’Ron Payne is a candidate to leave Tuscaloosa early for the NFL draft. Isaiah Buggs, Johnny Dwight, Raekwon Davis, LaBryan Ray, Quinnen Williams and Phidarian Mathis return. That’s it. Depth on the defensive line is an issue.
With Wynn being the only freshman defensive lineman who will be on campus, he’ll have a leg up on Christian Barmore, who signed with Alabama last week, and Bobby Brown, who won’t sign until February.

Skyler Delong, 3-star punter, Nation Ford
Alabama needed to find a new punter in the 2018 class with four-year starter JK Scott moving on after this season. The Tide offered Skyler Delong during the team’s special teams camp this summer. He ended up flipping his commitment from Tennessee to Alabama and never looked back.
Alabama’s last three starting punters (P.J. Fitzgerald, Cody Mandell and Scott) started from Day 1 throughout and finished their entire careers with the Tide. Delong looks to be the next in line.

How do you not come back from that? I honestly figured the kid must have gotten aids because it was squashed so much.
