I’d only want him if he were from Louisiana.

I'm interested to see what changes the coaches have made to the offense. Clemson will have the same gameplan on defense that Auburn did.

If Bama tries to run that bullshite hybrid RPO/Pro style offense again, they will get destroyed again.

First off, we haven't been destroyed in over a decade.

Secondly, we'll be fine.

I don't know that the stats bear that out. Ingram and Richardson, who most probably consider in the top three backs of the Saban era along with Henry, lost yardage at a similar rate that Henry did.

Mark Ingram never lost yards.

He punished fools on the reg.

I don't think I can ever put another Bama back over Ingram. He wasn't the fast or most talented, but he got his yards and was a great leader. Not to mention, he seems to be at every big Bama game
I'll never forget in 2009 against Vtech in the opening game, he jumped all over Smelley because he missed a block. We need leaders like that now.

Ingram has been a stud for the Saints this year.

This is his 7th year in the NFL and he has more yards than any previous season.

Best I could tell and using quick math, Henry lost about 110 yards on his 602 career carries. Ingram lost about 75 yards on 570 carries. Is that enough of a difference to determine one guy "never lost yards" and the other lost yardage on too many carries?

I wasn't being literal.

Just saying Ingram was, and still is, a beast.

I believe Henry was the best. . He carried us in 2015 until the postseason. Put us on his back and never got tired, unreal.

No, I agree. Ingram was spectacular, especially in 2009. His 2010 season was a little meh by his standards. I enjoy watching him still and seeing him do well. I do think people have this association as Henry getting tripped up easy, which I don't really remember, especially his last season. I didn't think you actually meant he never lost yardage. But people associate him as being tough to bring down and Henry being quick to go down. Just strange (and I know you didnt' mention anything about Henry).

Mark has done really well... Especially now that Payton is using him correctly. Henry is already good and has alot of tread left. I think I'd give Derrick the nod tho in college due to ripping the barn a new arsehole. He just got stronger that year the more carries he got and he's the only back we ve had in awhile that never got chased down, once he broke into the second level it was curtains.

I'm choosing to believe that whatever the gameplan is, it will be successful because the players are going to be playing with this giant chip on their shoulder. I wonder How daboll is gonna try to attack them also .....

University of Alabama - where fans get tired of Heisman trophy winners.....

Not busting your balls, but we have become somewhat spoiled when this is what I hear....

I think this game is huge for Daboll if he wants to return. If play calling is crap he is gone.
