We went 12-2 in 2008 with 3 stars and a few good freshman. 2009 went undefeated win mostly 3 stars starting. Only undefeated season under Saban. Not how that works.

The LB class is suddenly more of a concern than DL. I guess Ruggs will get a sport afterall.

That's a little revisionist history. Shula's last two classes were top 15. Saban's first two were #10 and #3.
True, there were a lot more Alabama kids. A lot more lower rated kids, but there was a good amount of SEC talent in the depth chart in 2008-2009.

I don't understand why people partake in things that seemingly make them miserable. If teenagers can't or won't make up their mind why do people follow what they do?

Absolutely. Would be a shame to show disrespect and have an offer pull and given to someone who wants it. I don’t like how nadab in particular handled this situation so I say both parties move on from each other maturely. There is someone out there that WANTS to be here. We need that person for more than football ability.

People who melt over recruiting kill me every cycle. All this early signing period does is give me a chance to laugh in December instead of February.

Haha just voicing my opinion man. I don’t wish anything in him but the best elsewhere where he wants to be. I’m more annoyed that he hasn’t just flipped instead of giving the bull shite excuse he gave after all this wishy washy recruiting as it was. He clearly has an issue with commitment. He was committed to LSU right? Then thought about Miami and UGA? I mean I get it’s recruiting but at some point you can’t pick every school. It’s time to grow up and we have a business to run at Alabama and the way you win is by having kids who are bought in and want to be there. He clearly doesn’t want to be as bad as others.
