See: UGA fans literally every season since Bobo left.

Somehow UGA still lives off of previous success with TE utilization whereas Alabama is seen as the team that only threw the ball to OJ Howard in title games.

Frustrating.

Saivion Smith was likely going to get lots of playing time for LSU this past season, but the former 5-star prospect decided to transfer to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College this past summer.

It was a surprising move, but it all worked out for Smith, who is currently in Tuscaloosa practicing with the team. He isn’t available to play in the Sugar Bowl or national championship game if the Tide make it, but it’s nice for Alabama and Smith to get an idea of where he’s at before he officially starts his career in January.

Here’s all you need to know about Smith:

247Sports composite ranking: No. 1 junior college cornerback, No. 1 prospect in Mississippi, No. 1 prospect in junior college

Hometown: St. Petersburg, Fla.

School: Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College

Height: 6-foot-1

Weight: 175 pounds

Offers: 7, including Auburn, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Texas Tech, USF

Commitment: Dec. 6, 2017

Early enrollee: Yes

Where he fits at Alabama: Getting Saivion Smith on board was massive for the Crimson Tide. Alabama didn’t sign any true cornerbacks in the 2017 class. The team will lose both starting cornerbacks in Anthony Averett and Levi Wallace after this season. Smith is a plug-and-play type of player. Alabama fans should expect Smith to be one of the team’s starting cornerbacks.

Bo Nix announced a Top 3 of Auburn, Clemson and Ohio State.

Does it really count as three if you're only considering one?

His first game next August gets a national TV audience on ESPN against Hoover.

Nadab Joseph, the one-time LSU commit, was trending toward Alabama for several months prior to actually de-committing from the Tigers. His commitment to the Crimson Tide seemed like it was just a matter of time.

Nick Saban visited Joseph and his family in South Florida on Dec. 5, which was the night he committed to the Tide. Alabama was getting annoyed with Joseph that he kept on delaying his decision.

Here’s all you need to know about Joseph:

247Sports composite ranking: No. 18 cornerback, No. 27 prospect in Florida, No. 161 overall

Hometown: Miami

School: Miami Norland

Height: 6-foot-2

Weight: 180 pounds

Offers: 22, including Auburn, LSU, Florida, Georgia, Florida State, Mississippi State, Tennessee

Commitment: Dec. 5, 2017

Early enrollee: Yes

Where he fits at Alabama: Joseph is another defensive back who could play either cornerback or safety in the Tide’s secondary. He’s the prototypical defensive back Saban usually signs — lengthy, rangy and physical at the point of attack. Do not be surprised to see Joseph on the field next season.

Didn't you say R. Cooper was ours? Was it us not wanting him because we didn't even visit.

Well when all the analyst talk about is how we don't use TEs during games can't blame kids for now wanting to come here.

FAU 50, Akron 3 with 4 minutes left and Kiffin still has the starting offense in trying to score instead of letting the backups play in their bowl game.

Couldn't even remotely begin to tell you how... But I'll take it...

Doesn't seem to be hurting you at all though.

I guess we will find out when DWA signs whether we will get a good TE or not. He could commit to Kansas tomorrow, and I wouldn't blink an eye. Kid is totally unpredictable.

Unless something crazy happens with other teams, if we land Anoma, Barmore and DWA tomorrow we'll move up to #3 in the class rankings with 4-5 spots left.

And we thought this was going to be a down year.
