Anyone on commitment watch this weekend lol?
Posted on 11/8/17 at 12:56 pm to seanpendleton10
It is all TS fault not being on recruit watch 24/7
Starting with the 2019 class he can't move, vacation, or deploy until after NSD.

Maybe a few of our posters if we do not get a commitment or do not beat MSU come Sunday for the ward.

Could 5-star RB Noah Cain follow his teammate to Alabama?
Alabama already has a commitment from IMG Academy (Fla.) running back Trey Sanders in the Class of 2019.
But could the Crimson also snag -- with a little help from Sanders, a four-star prospect -- another 2019 running back from IMG?
Noah Cain, a 5-foot-11, 205-pounder five-star back who currently shares carries with Sanders, admitted the two have discussed playing together at Alabama.
"We talk about it all the time," said Cain, currently the No. 1-ranked running back in the Class of 2019 "If we went to college together, we'd be the best backfield in the country. No doubt about it."
Cain rushed for 113 yards on 19 carries in Friday's 32-21 victory over defending AHSAA Class 7A champion Hoover, and Sanders added 58 yards and two touchdowns.
While Sanders made his verbal commitment to Alabama in April, Cain's recruitment has a different timetable.
"I'm not making my decision until next December," Cain said on Friday night. "I'm taking the process real slow right now."
Cain visited Alabama, alongside a number of his IMG Academy teammates, for Saturday's game against LSU. Texas, Miami and LSU are among the top teams currently pursuing Cain.

Update ya'll might be interested in from AU SECCountry recruiting writer

@CJ4Six: Is there still a chance that Quay Walker flips?
It’s possible, but I wouldn’t count on it. In fact, I’d tell every fan base in the country to never count on flipping an Alabama commit.
In Walker’s case, there are something advantages working in Auburn’s favor. He’s always had a strong connection to Auburn. He has a close relationship with Kevin Steele, Rodney Garner and Travis Williams. His high school teammate and close friend Markaviest Bryant is at Auburn. Walker will visit Auburn yet again this weekend and likely for the Iron Bowl, as well.
It still feels like a long shot, but it might be the closest long shot of all time (if that makes any sense at all).

If Bo stays I think he gets passed up next year by Najee anyway.
I don't think Harris stays. He's a 1st-2nd based on tape. His vision is absolutely unreal. I just wish we took away Bo's carries and gave them to him/Jacobs

I just went through 247's class and I know we are all excited about the 2019 class, but UGA has three 5* already and favored for several more!!! Whoa
Who gives a shite about UGA? We are fricking Alabama. No other team has been to the playoffs every year. Where was UGA last year? No guarantee they will be elite next year, as they are benefitting from several experienced players returning and the east as a total clusterfrick.
We are consistently the best program. Enjoy it now.

Is there a position that you think Alabama should focus its recruiting efforts on more than others? I believe DB is a concern.
From @SupaHendo
You’re right that defensive back is a concern for Alabama moving forward. There’s going to be a lot of turnover in the secondary next season. Anthony Averett, Tony Brown, Hootie Jones and Levi Wallace will all be gone. Not to mention, Ronnie Harrison and Minkah Fitzpatrick are likely candidates to declare early for the NFL draft.
That doesn’t leave the Tide with much depth, particularly at cornerback. Alabama will only have two true corners on its roster next season — Trevon Diggs and Nigel Knott. We haven’t seen Knott receive any playing time, yet, so who knows if he’s ready to play at an elite level.
The Tide would like four cornerbacks and one safety in this class. The names to know at corner are Tyson Campbell, Josh Jobe, Patrick Surtain Jr., Saivion Smith, Nadab Joseph and Jalyn Armour-Davis. Alabama likes Kelvin Joseph at safety.

Potential D-tackle signees?
From @vinceblank1
Christian Barmore, a 4-star prospect from Neumann Goretti High School (Philadelphia), is a name to know. Alabama hopes to bring him in for an official visit after the season.
Caleb Tremblay, a 4-star junior college prospect from American River Community College (Sacramento, Calif.), is expected to take an official visit to Alabama next month.
Mike Williams, a 3-star prospect from Louisiana, was in Tuscaloosa this past weekend. He’s one of the team’s top targets at DT. Some other names that the team is still interested in are Tyler Friday, Jeffery Johnson and Jalen Cunningham.
Alabama is still recruiting Texas A&M commit Bobby Brown, Ohio State commit Antwuan Jackson and Auburn commit Coynis Miller. Miller visited Tuscaloosa this past weekend. I think there’s a tiny chance he flips his commitment. With Brown, it’s becoming quite clear that this is likely Kevin Sumlin’s final season at Texas A&M. Will that be enough for him to flip to the Tide? Jackson seems like a long shot.

RB likely to sign with Bama?
From @chriswatkins7
Jerome Ford, a 3-star prospect from Armwood High School (Seffner, Fla.), is the name to know. I think he’s going to commit to Alabama at some point. He visited Tuscaloosa this past weekend and absolutely loved his time there.

Can we realistically get at least one top 50 CB (Surtain Jr, Campbell, Taylor-Stuart, Kelvin Joseph)? What’s the scoop on recently offered UT Commit Alontae Taylor?
From @hackzubbard
I think it’s definitely realistic Alabama lands one of the players you offered. Tyson Campbell remains the best bet in my opinion, though Georgia is definitely trending right now. Patrick Surtain Jr., the nation’s No. 1 cornerback, seems likely LSU bound. He’s listed the Tigers as his leader for more than a year now. I’m not sure what can change his mind at this point. Isaac Taylor-Stuart is not a top option for Alabama at this time. He’s a backup plan. Kelvin Joseph, who is being recruited as a safety by Alabama, will likely decide between the Tide and LSU. He de-committed from the Tigers, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him back with LSU when he makes his next commitment.
As far as Alontae Taylor, he’s just a backup plan at this time. His offer didn’t come from Nick Saban himself, so it’s not “official.” Defensive backs coach Derrick Ansley extended the offer to him.

Dennis Little (Facebook): Where do you think Justyn Ross is leaning?
Clemson.
That’s been the way it has been trending for a while. He was 5-star quarterback Trevor Lawrence’s top wide receiver at The Opening in Eugene, Ore. The relationship really started to blossom from there. Ross has always raved about his visits to Clemson, and the program’s track record of producing NFL wide receivers sticks out to him.
Hence my Crystal Ball pick to Clemson a while back.
Still, don’t count out Alabama or Auburn. Alabama appears to have its receiver plan a little more secured in the 2018 class than Auburn. That’s not necessarily a bad thing for the Tigers. Seth Williams, Justyn Ross and Anthony Schwartz remain. If Auburn can land two of those three, it’s a massive success.
Ross’ family is comfortable at Auburn, and that will be the staff’s selling point down the stretch.
