Speaking of 2 blueshirts and a grayshirt, who is the third person? I know Parks and the kicker but who is the other person? I don't know who is what colored shirt and I don't know the difference either.

A trusted "Bama mod" that has a ton of media and former player connections told me a couple days ago that he's hearing Fox may already be 255, and that we think he has the frame to be 285 by very early in his college career.

I think the problem where people get upset about possible "tweeners" is when they see or hear a kids name, they pull up their profile on one of the recruiting sites. There, they see the kids height and weight that may possibly be 10-12 months old and outdated. I think Fox was listed at 225-230 range.

He is listed at 6-4 245. He is very similar to LaBryan Ray. Ray was undervalued very early on, but continued to see his stock rise. The Alabama staff seemed to like Fox early on. But he didn't seem to bloom as quickly over his senior season as Ray did.

Jj- watt was 220-225 coming out of high school I’m not saying fox is him but you never know Cuz you can’t teach heart. Fox highlights seem to not take plays off and hustles.

I think the first time I saw his name several months ago, they had him listed around 230-235.
I've got a sophomore in my home and he is killing my grocery bill! TE/LB 6' 185 and growing!! In the spring, he was at 160 and pissed that he wasn't gaining weight!!

You gotta be careful of "insiders". Most just throw vague references out there and always leave themselves an out.

No insider here, just a former walk on, and a former HS coach too. I still have some friends that coach and I occasionally go watch a practice or two.

I'll be honest, I don't know how anyone can coach in high school anymore. Any little thing and a coach would get in trouble.

I think he's the best option we have right now. He seems to have a strong arm though. Watching his film, I thought he was taller than 6'2

Better to pay attention to how hard Bama is recruituing them and credible info about where they are on Bama's board. That'll tell you more about how good of a prospect and fit players are for Bama's needs.

Some kids have great upside and some blow up their senior year. Character, toughness and work ethic are important at Bama.

I recommend that you not fret about every twist and turn in recruiting. There's no point in it. Instead, watch the process and be thankful Saban is one of the best recruiters there is.

Some kids are gonna be tough to get for various reasons. Some aren't gonna buy what Saban / Bama is selling. If they don't, it's probably for the best that they go elsewhere.

We are definitely in a down year. Yes we are spoiled but it is very much a disappointing year relative to what we usually haul in. Even worse considering Georgia is lighting it up. We are in dire need of inside DT types and haven't got them the last two years. Maybe next year gets better but it is ok to admit that we are not getting it done this year.
