Asa Martin has taken in a couple of games at Alabama this season, but he is an Auburn commit. It also looks like Alabama will receive the final official visit. Martin is going to graduate in December and is is planning on taking four official visits. He is going to Clemson on Nov. 17, Auburn the following weekend and Alabama wants him to visit the second weekend in December. He will likely take another visit to FAU, but the Owls are not viewed as a threat. When Martin committed in August, it was close between the two in-state schools, so the real threat here is Alabama. It is definitely something to track until Martin signs in December.

Micah Parsons now has a CB to Oklahoma so maybe that's true

I'll never understand committing somewhere with an unproven coach, unless you really just love the school. There are so many unknowns with Oklahoma's situation.

Just using him as an example of why you trust the coaches. No one commits to Bama without Saban’s approval. So whoever they get, you just have to trust his judgement.

He looks a bit like Josh Jacobs with the ball. I think both were underrated recruits.

Heck, right now, Jacobs is the second best all around back Bama has. He's versatile, has good hands, and is lightning quick.

5-6 Top 25 schools wanted him as a McCaffrey clone. RB/Slot/PR/KR. I think at Bama he’s a slot in the Welker role that Dabol wants to implement.

He's already big enough to handle a load of 12-15 touches a game whether it be at RB, WR or KR/PR.

McKee is delaying his enrollment by 2 yrs to go on mission trip so why not except his commentment? Basically we’d be getting a top 5 Qb to jump on board and not count against this years class since he won’t sign.

I'd rather take a true Class of 2020 kid that hadn't taken 700 days off from playing football to be honest.

Understand that point Saint. What’s the early word on the 2020 QB’s?

Harrison Bailey from Georgia is high on my list as well as DJ Ukelele (that's not really his last name) from California. We've also offered a kid from Connecticut and there is a kid from Hoover who may fit the bill too.

ETA:

Class of 2020 offers:

Quarterbacks:

Drew Pyne Highlights
Harrison Bailey Highlights
DJ Uiagalelei Highlights

He may have the strongest arm of any QB I've ever seen and he's only 15.

He plays for the same school as our OL commit Tommy Brown, but he's the backup to 2019 5-star JT Daniels (committed to USC).

I'm hoping we can swoop in and snag him seeing as he probably doesn't want to back up Daniels anymore.

Not really.

Apparently he has some character issues that probably wouldn't go over very well in our program.

He's still a beast on the field though.

He's going to be a pass rusher in college, but he has the talent to be a Brandon Jacobs like talent running the football.
