The fear of Ohio st. is their recruiting. They are killing it and Urban Meyer is a proven recruiter. I dont know how many big time players we missed out on because they beat us. Baron Browning and Shaun Wade come to mind. I know theres many others

Bama would destroy Ohio St this year. As long as JT Barrett is there, they won't win a title.

Hearing his name and Bama a lot.

You're not the only Georgia fan I've seen saying this. Can he lose the weight? This isn't the 2008 Alabama defense anymore.

Wouldn't be upset with this, wouldn't mind getting Ezzard now, keep hearing he's super underrated.

The teams that would give us the most trouble IMO,in order:

Penn State
Oklahoma
Ohio State
Georgia
Clemson

We can probably beat all of them but would need our A game to beat PSU,OU,OSU.
Think we will do it.

Is this kid kin to the Jones? Because he looks like them. Plus he’s from Memphis and plays at Christian Brothers.

Penn State

Their QB Mcsorly is a weakness. Barkley may be the best RB in the country, and IMO its not even close, but we can shut down teams that cant pass. Mcsorly doesnt beat you by throwing great timing passes. He throws sky jump balls up with long hang times. We would eat him alive.

Penn St and Ohio St would be destroyed like Michigan St in the playoffs 2 years ago. Bama would shut down the run game and force the QB to beat Bama through the air.

Georgia and Clemson would be like the Washington game last year. Bama's D would shut them down, but Bama would struggle to score.

Oklahoma would be like the Ole Miss games in 15 and 16. Their OB would go all Johnny Football on Bama and it would be a shootout.

We could give him the Fournette treatment no problem.

I’d like to play Penn St in championship game for the nostalgic feel. Great traditional teams.

Ohio State's DL would give us fits, IMO. I think we're the better team, but not by a lot. It would be fairly close, IMO. And Meyer is incredible as a (rare) underdog and when his teams are being a bit overlooked. He's not very good at all when he's expected to be #1.

Again though, if our passing game is actually on, I would be surprised if any opponent could keep it within single digits.

This is what scares me about TCU

Ped State matches up VERY poorly with us. We would beat them like a drum if we showed up to play, IMO.

Why TCU? They don't have the overall talent, and Kenny Hill isn't anything special.

Agree. I think OSU, UGA, and Clemson are the only teams that could give us trouble. There isn't an offense that scares me. If a team has a front 7 that can stop the run and force our team to pass they have a good shot.

That's the same thing we were saying about Oklahoma a few years ago. That offense will give us fits, I believe
