Remember all the shite they were talking on this board after the game this past week?

How there is no way Hurts can beat Clemson, etc..

Looks like they should be thankful we don't lose our close games onstage of whining and complaining about any and everything

I think Slade will have a huge role at Bama. I'm happy for him and the whole family. It's a big deal going to any SEC school.

Damn Slade is already bigger than a NFL player.

Does this Clemson loss give us a mulligan? I would like to think that it gives a little extra room for a mistake.

Not really. We can’t lose right now because we are huge favorites over our next few opponents. Then we’re into November and it’s too late to lose and climb back up the rankings.

Maybe it helps us in a close loss in the SECCG but I wouldn’t count on it. The Bama fatigue will overcome any perceived cushion and people will latch on to any reason to exclude Bama from the playoffs.

Did Navy recruit him as WR, RB, or QB?

Navy is his only offer at QB.

I don’t think so. I think the only program he would’ve really considered for that role would’ve been Georgia Tech since at the time he wanted to be an engineer.

Taulia picked up 296 passing yards and three more touchdowns tonight.

Season passing stats:

2,144 yards
19 TDs
3 INTs

Doesn't seem stellar until you factor in that he usually doesn't play much, if at all, in the 2nd half. Thompson's average margin of victory the last six weeks is over 31 ppg.

I'd still think 306 passing yards a game and nearly 3 passing TDs a game in 7A football is stellar, even if he hadn't sat out the majority of the 2nd half in all of his games this year. But that may just be me.

Paul Tyson was 22 for 33 for 257 yards and 3 touchdowns in a win over Sparkman. Another solid performance.

Tyson and Tagovailoa are 1 and 2 in almost every important passing category in the state.
