Don't think Rusty is implying it's Ford. We think it's a long way to go with him. We're not using our TE's either

Any thoughts on Tyreke Smith? He has an official to Alabama this weekend.

Tyreke Smith is a beast and a superb athlete. A bit raw but will be a awesome player with a little development. Not ours. Another big get for Ohio st. They have been killing it lately.seriously their talent level is right there with ours

Stephon Wynn Jr. solid to Alabama
Stephon Wynn Jr. committed to Alabama in July and he hasn’t been heard from much since then.
Wynn, the nation’s No. 5 defensive end from IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), caught up with SEC Country’s Jeff Sentell to talk about where he stands with his commitment to Alabama and if any other school — mainly Georgia — has any chance of changing his mind.
It wasn’t clear until just a few days prior to his commitment on July 1 that Wynn actually had a committable offer from Alabama. Georgia looked like the school he was going to choose, but a June 10 visit to Tuscaloosa changed everything.
As of now, Wynn is only planning on taking one official visit, which he’ll carry out this weekend to Alabama for its game against Arkansas. Despite that, Wynn said his recruitment isn’t completely shut down just yet.
“I am still open, but as of now, I am solid to Alabama,” Wynn said.
What keeps his commitment to the Crimson Tide so strong?
“The winning part really isn’t it,” Wynn said. “It is really just the development part about Alabama. It is knowing that I will get coached by the best in the country, I will do well in the classroom and grow to become a better man off that field. They will give me all the tools to do what I love and then make a good living off doing what I love.”
Wynn doesn’t seem like he has any intentions of changing his commitment anytime soon, but he does still talk to the school that was close to landing his commitment. He said he talks to Georgia daily. Wynn credited the Bulldogs staff with creating strong relationships with him. He even called the coaches at UGA “mentors outside of football” and “relationships that I don’t really want to lose.”
Those are definitely strong comments about a school that almost landed his commitment, and Wynn said Georgia still is in the mix for him.
“Georgia would be the only school,” Wynn said. “At this point, Georgia would be the only school that could flip me.”
But, again, as of now, there seems to just be a small chance of that happening. Wynn said he’s not really concerned about the wins and losses of each team. He also doesn’t care about the momentum Georgia has on and off the field right now.
What he does care about is the opportunity he has at Alabama to play early. The Crimson Tide need defensive linemen this year as they’ll lose Da’Shawn Hand, Jamarcus King, Josh Frazier and possibly Da’Ron Payne after this season. Depth won’t be too deep in 2018.
“Right now, I have a great opportunity to play at Alabama,” Wynn said. “They don’t have a lot of defensive linemen returning. They don’t have a lot of depth coming back right now.”
The Under Armour All-American also credited Alabama defensive line coach Karl Dunbar as a big reason why he ended up committing to the Crimson Tide. It’s a main factor why the Tide beat out the Bulldogs in the end.
He’s coached like 11 years in the NFL,” Wynn said of Dunbar. “You really can’t beat that guy and his experience and with him coaching at Alabama. You can’t beat that.”
Is there any scenario out there that could beat that?
“Maybe, if something happened with a coaching change or something crazy like that,” Wynn said. “I mean you never know what happens at the end of every season. But, right now, everything is great and everything looks great for Alabama.”
What’s crazy about Wynn is that even though he’s an All-American and rated as the nation’s No. 5 defensive end in the 2018 class, he doesn’t start for IMG Academy. That’s how loaded of a team the No. 1 Ascenders have. Wynn backs up Clemson 5-star commit Xavier Thomas and 2019 Georgia 5-star commit Nolan Smith, who is a major flip candidate for Alabama.
When Wynn looks back at the random, sudden timing of his commitment to the Crimson Tide, does he think it was the right time to make that decision?
“I just wanted to commit before my senior year,” Wynn said. “This is my last year playing high school football so I wanted to really enjoy it in a different place than what I was used to. That all played out the way I wanted it to and planned for it to go.”

Jalen Cunningham switches positions
Jalen Cunningham, a 3-star prospect from St. Clair County High School (Odenville, Ala.), is no longer a defensive tackle, according to him.
Cunningham, who was being evaluated by the Alabama staff as a nose tackle, is now an offensive lineman. This past summer, SEC Country was told that Cunningham may be a better prospect on the offensive side of the ball than on the defensive side.
But how this affects Cunningham’s recruitment is now a mystery. Cunningham didn’t respond for comment right away late Sunday night when he tweeted his decision to move to offense.
Dunbar watched Cunningham play earlier this year but the in-state prospect didn’t receive the green light to commit to the Crimson Tide. As documented here, Cunningham will likely commit to Alabama if he’s given the OK to do so.
Now that he’s switching to offense, I can’t see him signing with Alabama because the team is in very good shape with its three priority targets: Emil Ekiyor, Penei Sewell and Nicholas Petit-Frere. If the move to offense is permanent for Cunningham, I don’t think he’ll see his dream of playing for Alabama come true.

Might realize no offer from Bama was coming.

Yeah, flipping sides looks to assure that he isn't getting an offer.

Think everyone might be looking to much into it. His team probably needs help on o-line and he’s athletic enough to help out.

Bama wanted to see a few games of him playing DT before deciding whether or not to offer.
4-5 games into the season he switches to OL tells me they didn't see enough to warrant an offer.
Says a lot with Bama practically begging for DLs...

Just to clarify, he didn't get on the field until around 2 weeks ago. He had surgery on a turf toe and had missed the first 3-4 games. I tend to side with caution and say that he is needed on the OL to help his team win games.

Either Trey Sanders is a huge troll or he's legit retarded.
This is what he said about Florida's offense after visiting them this past weekend:

Sanders, who is committed to Alabama, admitted that this trip was just about hanging out with his friends and teammates. But the game quickly gabbed his attention and so did the Florida program.
“It changes a lot in my mind,” said Sanders about watching Florida's run game first hand. “I was just supposed to come up and watch this game with my friends but to see how this offense is now, is unbelievable.”
