What about East Montgomery?

I think I went to the IMax theater out that way before my deployment.

I was just joking. It's not that bad. I'm not very familiar with it, but a friend used to live around there and I never heard anything too bad.

A giant shite hole. I grew up in Wetumpka, which is around Montgomery. The downtown has a cool set up, but the crime in Montgomery is horrible.

Check out Prattville or Wetumpka if I were you. Wetumpka is a straight shot to Gunter on 231, but there's not much to do there.

What part of town has the best schools?

I have one going in to Junior High, one in middle school and one in elementary school.

Montgomery is a dumpster fire. I lived there for 2 years in high school and went to Jeff Davis. It was the worst 2 years of my life. East side out by arrowhead cc is decent now but man I hate Montgomery

Speaking of Montgomery, Keith Niebuhr CB'd Tank Jenkins to Auburn today.

I guess he got a committable offer from them.

Orlando (Fla.) Jones cornerback Sevyn Banks committed to Ohio State back in April. However, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect still plans to take other official visits in the fall.

Banks tentatively plans to use trips to Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Maryland, as well as Ohio State in the fall.

After missing his junior season with a knee injury, Banks has seen his stock gradually rise this offseason. The industry generated 247Sports Composite currently ranks Banks as the nation's No. 250 overall prospect in the 2018 class.

He looked legit a year ago. But the guy doesn't strike me as a SEC offensive lineman.

He's short. I don't think he's any taller than 6'1".

There's not a good public school in the Montgomery County System, except for LAMP (one of the top high schools in the state). I don't know anything about Park Crossing HS and it's feeders, but it may be okay. My coworkers that lived in town mostly sent their kids to private schools.

Prattville, Millbrook, Wetumpka and Pike Road are all close, and are decent schools, but are in other school systems.

Pretty good choice, as far as MGM goes. Check out the school zones before you commit to anything, though.

montgomery public schools are horrible. The state Bd. of Ed. took over a few months ago.Tons of private schools. Park Crossing High school on east side is good I think. I would check on the homes across the river in emerald Mountain.Elmore county. Only about 15 or 20 minutes from base. There is a new school not far from there. I live close to there. I'll buy you a peace offering if you come this way.
