It's fricking creepy and stepping over the line, but that's just my opinion

Much has been written about Justyn Ross, a four-star receiver from Central-Phenix City. He is the state's top prospect, ranked No. 41 nationally and as the No. 6 recruit in the 247Sports composite.
AL.com caught up with Ross at the USA Football 7on7 National Championship in Hoover. The Red Devils play on Friday at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. at the Hoover Met soccer fields after going 2-2 in Thursday pool play.
- Ross says he's now up to 205 pounds on his 6-foot-4 frame.
- He plans on visiting Alabama for its cookout on July 21, but won't be able to attend Auburn's event the next day as he has a 7-on-7 event with his team.
- Ross is trying to visit Clemson again along with Florida and Florida State, but doesn't have anything set up. Remember that Ross spent a week in Oregon for The Opening, so he's now more focused on being with his team.
- Ross said that the two in-state schools (Alabama and Auburn) and Clemson are coming at him the hardest.
- What are these school's big messages?
- Alabama - "They don't have any receivers with my size. They need a red zone threat.
- "Auburn - "That they're pretty much in a drought with receivers. They're not as deep as they used to be.
- "Clemson - "Clemson is always going to have good receivers. They tell me I have a good chance to come in and compete due to my play style.
- "Ross bonded with Clemson commit Trevor Lawrence, the five-star recruit, at The Opening. They played on the same 7-on-7 team. "He's a real cool guy," Ross said. "Not that much (recruiting), but I know he wants me there.
- "On The Opening, the six-day event in Beaverton, Ore., at the NIKE world headquarters featuring some of the country's best prospects: "It was a great experience. I got a chance to meet a lot of great people and a lot of great football players. It was an amazing experience. I learned a lot on releases. There were some great coaches.
- "And on dropping 90 places in the 247Sports rankings to No. 138 nationally and No. 3 in the state. He just smiled. Ross isn't one to vocally complain or hold grudges in that aspect. "I haven't seen it. Ahh, man. Rankings don't matter to me. If you can ball, you can ball.
- "Capping it off, Ross doesn't plan on signing early. This one will go down to the wire, likely to National Signing Day. "It's hard. I've got such a good relationship with so many coaches," he said.

Peon?
You think you know my rank? Based solely on my reason for joining?
Let me guess, you think those lowly Army Privates aren't worth a damn either, huh?
Why don't you ask TideWarrior about the sacrifices enlisted soldiers have made for this country? I'm sure he'll be gentle in telling you to frick off.

I served my country. I was drafted in october 1963 at the beginning of Viet Nam war. . Yes I'm an old man.. And I thank you for your service. OK, I sincerely apologize for my remarks. No need in for this to continue. BTW, I'm not the guy you think I am. Have a great day.

Well thank you for your service, Sir.
I know that was some terrible stuff to go through.
And you're right. I'm not a General. I've only been in for right at 11 years and one doesn't typically make it that high until they've hit at least 18 years.
But, God willing, it may be in my cards for the future.
Goodnight.

Generals usually have 30 years or more of service. Officers 15-18 years in will generally be an 04-05, 06's at 20-24 years and generals about 30. I served as well in the Marines.

I've seen a Brigadier General in the Air Force make it at 18 years. I was low balling the time in service.
Granted, he started out as a Captain, but it is possible.

Four-star rising senior cornerback Jaycee Horn of Alpharetta (Ga.) High School announced Thursday night on his Twitter account that he has decided to postpone the scheduled announcement of his college decision.
The 6-foot, 174-pound Horn previously planned to make his choice known on Saturday. He was set to decide between Alabama and South Carolina.
"After much thought and talks with my parents, I've decided to push my commitment date back until further notice," he tweeted.
Horn, who's the son of former NFL wide receiver Joe Horn, now is expected to consider at least one other team in addition to the Crimson Tide and the Gamecocks. He's scheduled to visit Tennessee on July 20.
The 247Sports Crystal Ball points to South Carolina as the favorite to land Horn, with the Gamecocks getting 90 percent of the current predictions and the other 10 percent going to Alabama.
